Speaking of the term "emo"... I don't really think of it as something "real." It's merely a silly label, you know? Oh, and poetry of course doesn't have to be depressing. :laugh2: Also, I forgot to say that I was pretty young when Parachutes came out, too, and I couldn't have really felt the way I feel about it now either. yeah.

Hey, me too! I love Parachutes to death. :heart: It's probably my favorite Coldplay album. I do definitely prefer the band's older stuff (older as in A Rush of Blood to the Head era and everything before it) to their newer stuff. Oh, and I got the demo version somewhere off of the multimedia board on this site.

I like it, too! :nice: I haven't really studied poetry in my English class either, so like I said, I'm probably not a good person for poetry judging..but whatever. I can see how it would remind one of Spies, yeah. And YES, Spies is awesome!

I was going to say that I wanted to see it too. I don't think that I would be able to judge very well since I don't write poetry, but still. Reading it now!

Oh yeah, I can't believe that I haven't mentioned Fix You yet. The most overrated Coldplay song ever. I used to love it like everyone else back when I first heard it when I was younger and more naive, but now...it's just.. So. Fucking. Overrated. There are so many better Coldplay songs.

I don't think so... I was going to say that it's funny/interesting how we have changed subjects in this thread. We went from talking about cheetos to jaffa cake to other sweets to it being lonely in here with only two people talking to math to school subjects in general to english teachers/class...

That's probably the same "main" reasoning same for me, actually. Some people mean that their teacher doesn't really do much in class when they say that, though. I actually mean that my teacher is great at teaching :P (besides being an awesome person, I mean).

Since we're talking about subjects in school... I've been more of an english class person this year, but I'm probably the only one like that in the school. Haha. I've taken a physics class before, but not this year.

It's okay for me sometimes, but it's never really been kind of my thing, to be honest..shrug.

It actually depends on my mood. It was Don't Panic last night (which is a popular one to listen to before bed for me). We Never Change is one I've done recently... I do remember that I used to always listen to The Scientist before bed.
