Damn I'm not even gonna lie I'm kind of....pissed. I mean first there's no real explanation for the postponement and then it's just suddenly canceled. I'm sorry I love Coldplay but this makes me feel like they didn't even really try that hard, I mean this is the SECOND time that a Tampa show has been postponed/canceled. Do they realize that? I may get over it in a few days/hours but I know a few people who are going to be ROYALLY PISSED about this. I can't imagine what must have happened or how sick somebody may have been that that last show of the tour was canceled so far in advanced and there really wasn't more details, etc, especially for a band like Coldplay. Anyways, long rant, but at least I'll be getting some extra cash...I'll just have to pop in my home made DVD of the concert in Japan I guess.

I may be wrong but I'm almost positive that the Amphitheatre here does shows all year round. In fact I remember them doing a show in February for the Superbowl. Personally at this point I don't really care if they do cancel or re-schedule though I would prefer them reschedule because I was going with a cousin of mine who's a huge fan and has never seen them and after going through a really hard time with his family this past year he was really looking forward to this as a good distraction. Anyway, if the can come back in November then that would be great. I think more than anything I'm just annoyed that this is the second time a Tampa concert has had to be re-scheduled. With Tampa being such a huge market I don't see why they had the Tampa show so late to begin with.

Does anybody remember the reasons for why they postpned the concert the last time they came to Tampa.

Ugh I'm so bummed. This is the second time they've had to cancel a Tampa show :/. I hope we don't have to wait forever for it :(

Got it! Wrote you back. And I know what you mean about the rentals. I told my mom about this and she was like 'whaaat? you're going to drive FOUR HOURS down there, that's practically Miami!'. Over-protective family here, and considering the first time I drove out of Tampa on my own was for the Orlando concert last November, she still has some getting used to. You're right though, they can't stop us! :D And they must understand 1 concert is simply not enough, we must start and finish the summer with Coldplay ;)

House and it was freaking AMAZING. I cannot believe the awesomeness of next weeks episode.

OMG thank you! I'm so excited now! We MUST do this. School lets out for me at the end of April and I really don't want to spend another summer doing absolutely nothing so I am all for this Coldplay road trip, yay! I shall message you now :)

Man I really want to go to this concert but my friend who I normally go to concerts with says she's broke and doesn't want to pay for this one. :( Does anyone live around the Tampa Bay area and hasn't bought a ticket yet or has no one else to go with either? I'd love to find a fellow Coldplay fan like who would like to make the trip down to see them. I'm thinking of, if anything, just driving down there on May 15th and seeing if I can get some last minute opennings at the box office. My cousin did that once before and I did that when I went to see Muse/MCR here. :/

Yay! Thank you for welcoming me in :D For a while I didn't even think I'd be part of any section, but now I'm excited to get to meet all the people from this board who love Coldplay too. We have to make this show THE BEST. Its going to be the last on their tour in the US right?

Wow I haven't on here in a few days (I've been so busy with school!) You guys are planning on bringing glow sticks to the show? OMG I can't wait. I'm in section 8 Row F. I want to take some too! BTW that letter that got posted from the LN lady, screw her! What a freaking liar! Yeah right tickets for the first three sections got sold out in minutes my butt. I was online at 10am on the dot on Sat and got nothing but crap. My cousin went to the box office at the Ford Amphitheatre and the guy there said there were only like 15 people waiting for tickets and that it was virtually impossible to get sections 1-3 because they were being held for something else...though that I'm not sure of at all. That lady can take her lame response and suck it :angry:

Woo hoo I'm so excited! After failing miserably since 10am to buy 2 tickets at a time and getting section 13-17, my cousin finally decided to just go to the box office at the venue and got FOUR tickets in section 8 row f. The guy there said tehre had been about 15 people there at 10 this morning. He was also saying that the fron sections are resereved for the fan club....? I don't know. Anyways I'm satisfied. YAY! This is the last time I rely on the internet for tickets though, from now on its box office everytime for me. They were even cheaper. 116!

Yeah I'm pretty sure once the real sale goes on, the earlier the better. I'm just hoping we get to see some different seats tomorrow than we saw today. I think I'll take my chances with the online one though. I'm too tired now to really believe I'll be up in time to drive to TM *crossingfingers*

Oh....do you know if she bought them as soon as they went onsale? If that's the case then I guess TM is better ebcause I got sec 108 lfor Orlando when I went to buy them at 10. This is why I usually stick with small bands that usually always just have general admission tickets for like 30 bucks tops...lol

^I've only ever bought tickets at TM locations, because I'm impatient and I like to have them in my hand that very moment ;D I was thinking though weren't we sitting in similar locations in first level for the Orlando concert, if I remember correctly? I bought mine at TM that time, but if you bought yours online, then I guess they give the same options.

Yeah but do you think there'll be better options at an actual ticketmaster location or do you think trying to buy them online will be the same? I thought about going to TM tomorrow morning, but I've got a long day tomorrow and ticketmaster is pretty far away from me, I still don't know though... :/

^Yeah I keep getting the same tickets too. I'm going to go ahead and assume they've only released some of the really sucky sections for pre-sale. If anything I'll just buy the tickets tomorrow...though I'm still compusively searching.

My cousin told me once that he went to a concert, I don't remember who, and that on the day of he went to the box office to ask to see if they had tickets and they had practically front row seats available. It's not a safe bet, but it also doesn't sound that unlikely Also I can't decide if I'd rather pay 130 dollars for section 14 row B or secition 8 row K

I'm annoyed because I though livenation was supposed to be better than ticketmaster but the times I've used ticketmaster I've always gotten better seats and had to pay less fees. If I go to a ticketmaster location will I be able to buy them there tomorrow? Or is it exclusively online? I did that last time and I feel like you get better options directly through them.

I was able to comfortably get level 1 seats when I went to buy them at a ticketmaster location last year.

Well if anything I'd rather pay 37 dollars for freaking lawn rather than paying 97 for section 15! I'm so freaking angry right now :angry:

Last time I didn't even try for pre-sale and I got way better tickets just going to ticketmaster on the day of the official sale.

My friend tried Price level 2 seats and got better options (sec 11) than for price level 1. I feel like I'm missing something.

97x has been giving away tickets during the morning x and during the Kage show. I tried calling in yesterday, but I kept getting busy signals :(. Oh well, I don't mind buying the tickets, I'm just really nervous because I REALLY want tickets up close. Me and my friend are going to have four computers going tomorrow to see which one gets the best seats *crossesfingers* PS. Those ticket fees suck.
