Did you say your username was 60K or something? I'll try and get them to hurry up but can't promise. There aren't as many mods on there as there are on here. It should be activated by tomorrow I would've thought. The forum isn't going anywhere, there's no great rush! :)

Ha! Ha! Yeah! FD get's a reasonable stream of newbies, I guess there are prehaps more casual fans than obsessive ones. Dunno why the likes of Coldplay are more popular but there you go. The Manics have always been consistent with singles etc - I suppose they are just too quirky for the tastes of the general public!

Patience Rick my friend! Good things come to those who wait! :D You can access more parts of the forum once you've posted so many times etc. The people who run FD are lovely though, they really are and they always deal well with any problem posters!

No mention of any dates for the Southern hemisphere I'm afraid. They did do the Big Day Out in Austrailia one year but that was a while back. You heading off to New Zealand at some point then Rick?

NME have confirmed the tour on their website. It's REALLY gonna happen! Woohoo!

Yep, it was way back in 1999 when the Manics last played in the US. Thanks for passing on the message to Vibrant for me Tonii. Lots of fans are praying for them to add a date in Toronto so I will put up any new information as soon as I get it. They've never played in South America (Cuba doesn't count!) so think of those fans in Chile/Brazil etc who keep hoping!

Hopefully! Still, us UK fans have had a tour whilst the ones across the pond have been waiting for ten years so we shouldn't be greedy! Anyone seen Vibrant Oxymoron about? Dunno if she knows they're playing Canada yet.

They're doing a tour of North America in October so don't know when the next UK tour will be, after the new album is released I expect.

Will that be for one of the European festivals then RadioMad? I keep losing track of what they've done and what they haven't done at the minute. They've just done a festival in Serbia, I know that!

So, anyone gonna be heading stateside to go and see them? Any North American fans on here going?

VIBRANT!!! The Manics are playing a gig in Vancouver as part of their North American tour which appears to be actually happening! Dates popping up everywhere. Thought you might be interested!

Yeah but you're missing out on all the excitement of the Manics fans in America/Canada/South America! Bless them! Hope this tour does go ahead for them and that there aren't any hitches. Nicky has a bad stomach at the moment so get well soon Wire!
