  1. you're killing me.... yeah, warning sign, a message.... what can i say, i loved the twisted logic stuff and stupid me got hooked too late to ever see them on it :( i think the best of world tour could be bad. you're right, singles would all that's played. funny story. i talk about dave matthews a lot when i was a huge fan back in the day. i went to a show and the encore literally left me speechless for hours. they played a song they had played live only 10 or less times over the years (and not on any albums) as well as another brilliant and rare song. i was in love. then i talked to a friend who went and he said he left when the encore started because they played some crappy song he had never heard and only wanted to hear satellite and crash. i guess coldplay appeals to the majority of concert goers who are like that guy and less to us. smart on their part honestly. at that point, i realized i was in the minority at these types of shows.... enough griping, i know. VIVA LA VIDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. could be wrong, but not so sure they have had 3 legs of a tour go through the same places in the US, plus they now have more songs, obviously, due to having a new album. both reasons things could and should mix up more. thanks for chiming in though.
  3. just thought i'd throw in songs i could do without and ones i love: do without: cemeteries clocks (i know people disagree, but they've got better songs) techno versions love: politik fix you lovers in japan in my place glass of water death and all of his friends add: talk full version swallowed in the sea new stuff every night on b stage and c-stage acoustic square one everything's not lost white shadows what if others i don't care about either way. but they could add some older songs and really make this set dynamite. a "best of" tour leg....
  4. i hear you. it's just odd that they played atlanta twice in one week with almost the exact same set in 2008. they added green eyes i think on the piano. then i think they played sydney 4 nights in a row and never changed the set. same place, 4 nights, same set. i guess they don't think the same people are coming, but a lot of us are. how many times can you go to atlanta and sell out (or almost sell out) a venue 3 times and not have a lot of the same crowd? i'll keep going, but it is disappointing for sure. i didn't look at any recent sets before sunday in atlanta and it made it much more enjoyable. i only hope by charlotte that they have added some songs. the way i see it, they might add 2 or 3 songs and extend the set, but it won't change much at all by the end of the this tour. they had 2 months off and haven't changed anything. they are 4 or 5 shows into this tour with only 42 total. i don't see them changing much at all...
  5. probably just saying the same things over and over, but wouldn't they get tired of playing the same things all the time? in the same order, same jokes, same little things they say and add? i'm not trying to bitch, CP is an unreal band, like no other. however, you would think they would mix it up just a bit more. i guess i was spoiled by dave matthews when you can follow them for a whole month and hear a different set and ways of doing songs every night. i just wish it was more fun to look at setlists, you know? i could post the setlist on here before the show and go to bed and not worry. yet i'm still here.... LOL
  6. i've wondered the same thing. i'm going to try craigslist, ebay, stubhub, whatever i can. i know i'm taking a loss, i just don't want to try to sell them at the show.
  7. i must have been standing right next to this person.... exact same angles as me from the pit.
  8. good luck man. i had seats in the covered area in atlanta and it was raining like hell. was trying to sell them here and on ebay, then tried to sell them at the show. paid $400.06 for them and sold them after 1 hour of walking through the mud and rain for $240. i sure hope we can sell our charlotte tickets.
  9. nice pics, damn. thought mine turned out ok but these are pretty sweet. good angle from your spot.
  10. sorry, from what i could see, they played it in the soundcheck only, not in the show...yet!
  11. lol, enjoy the show, i'll pop on with my iphone as i daze off and check things. starting to like you folks..... fairy new to the website, but i like it here.... :) had the time of my life last night in the pit in atlanta. man, what a brilliant band coldplay is!
