I couldn't agree more, Jason. X&Y has my two favorite songs of all time, by any band. Fix You & Swallowed In The Sea. I think X&Y is far beyond any of the other albums. MX is not very good, IMHO. I see a progression of things going downhill. Certainly sucks to say. I think Major Minus is the worst song they've produced in the last decade.

catastrophic, that's the best line ever. i've thought about that one too. while many coldplay lines can bring out crazy emotions in me, that song and line in particular is so fitting to my life.

i'll just bump this, seeing as the tour only has a month left. not one single set change from the first show of the tour, not ONE. i'm upset, but will still enjoy the charlotte show. i'll try to erase the set from my memory.

i just PMed you back about my tickets. the PIT tickets are not rowdy, they are very nice. we were in the PIT in atlanta and it was amazing. no mosh pits, no pushing, just nice relaxing music. i'd buy them...

what happened to the 200 page show threads? is the beginning of the tour excitement wearing off? oh yeah, WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO ADD SOME NEW SONGS TO THE SET like they said they would? Just curious :)

green eyes, sorry i missed your question. i have sold 2 of my 4 sets. i put them for sale, then adjusted the prices so that they were the cheapest in each section. it makes selling them so easy. my best two got $221, i paid $265 total for them. the other set i paid the same, but only got $187 back. after the atlanta selling fiasco, i wasn't taking a chance!

did they cancel the show? is no one there? never seen such a dead thread during show time....

? ronaldo could have been red carded for his two tackles on him. they were cracking him! at the end when he ran into van der sar, not sure what happened there, but talk about rolling around, look at ronaldo. that guy dives more than anyone in the world at that level. to me, it's the main reason i don't consider him to be the best overall player in the world.

i must disagree about not enjoying the match, but that's cause i'm a barca fan. man u should have or could have had 3 goals in the first 9 minutes with christina (lol at that pic, that's awesome). after eto'o scored, it was over. so, i do agree that there has not been a team this good in a long time. they are the true way anyone should want their teams to play, it's beautiful soccer, it truly is. as a general fan of the game, barca fan or not, you have to admit they play some pretty ball!

sold one set on stub hub today! lost about $15 each ticket after fees, not too shabby!

had to have been the refs today.... barca dominated minus the first 9 minutes. once eto' scored, it was over. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not saying this just cause it's you.... but these shows actually are not differing at all. the way the live songs sound on LRLRL are identical to the shows I have so far on this tour, even the quirkly line changes he throws in. examples: 1) fix you - "500 meters from the band at the coldplay show...." on LRLRL and at the shows I have seen and heard on youtube. 2) 42 (i think) - at the end where he huffs and puffs then belts out that long note, while looking at his watch at the end. it's identical from all reviews and videos i have seen. 3) dragon/lion head... same 4) jokes about the band at the end of violet hill, "mixing up the lyrics" identically. 5) that's right off the top of my head and i can add to it when i go back and listen and see more things. even in our atlanta show, they added georgia on my mind. cool, but the last three acts i have seen in atlanta do that. who cares? do a song you wrote that we want to hear.... john mayer did it and i can't remember who else, but i remember thinking that when john mayer did it. again, not trying to bash them because, to me, they create some of the best songs ever written. they are brilliant. but i do stand by the fact that getting online, tracking setslists, and going to one more show a tour is not as fun as doing it with someone like radiohead, dave matthews band, john mayer, ben harper, etc.

read the interviews done with them before this tour (and before i bought my tickets) stating that they will add older songs and extend the setlist. then quit making posts and trying to make me look like an idiot. thanks.

not that i have to keep bringing this up in every post i make, but wanted to bump this. i honestly feel that if they haven't added anything or changed anything, they won't do much for this tour. i felt like, with the comment they made about adding older songs and making the show longer, they would have come right out of the gate with a new set. then, when they didn't, i felt that it might take a few shows to work out some new songs in the soundcheck, etc. it doesn't even seem that they're doing that now. what gives? i went to the second show on this leg and am going to the second to last show on this leg. if i get the same set, i will be shocked and upset. i'm sure i will still enjoy the show... after all, it is coldplay.
