Coldplay coming to Pittsburgh? Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. It's been quite some time since I've posted anything. Just curious if anyone knows if they're rumored to add any dates to their tour - particularly Pittsburgh? I had tickets to both DC shows (really good tickets, I might add), but I had to cancel last minute due to some baby-sitter issues. DYING that we missed it, so looking to see if they'll be coming anywhere else near me. Thanks for any and all input! :)

I think it'll be released in March because I think they'll want new material for these festivals.. I mean, who's headlining festivals with material that's three years old? I think they'll also want time to practice performing it a bit before these major festivals by playing some gigs here and there. So, March it is. :) Wishful thinking....

I'm so excited to see her on Conan. I feel like it's always a good time. I'd love it for the boys to go back on Conan. Twould be great. :)

haha Thanks! It's the poster I made for the LA show I went to a few summers ago. On the butterflies are all the concert dates I saw them. I stood right infront of the c-stage at the Raleigh show and Chris saw my poster and smiled. :) It was fantastic.

Apple's older than 5, isn't she? I thought she was about seven? So if that's the case, this would've occurred a few years ago - long before Mr. Martin sported his studs.

Clocks is in the English movie Peter Pan... or at least in the trailer that comes on before Love Actually on dvd. haha :)

I was just watching an SNL special on VH1 and Coldplay's performance of VLV was played ...part of the performance was aired, but the song played in the background of the last 2 -3 minutes of the special. They used it during the ending credits and everything. The special was 2 hours long...but it was totally worth it. haha It was called: Saturday Night Live-2000s. :) Made my day.

Because I'm pregnant, the past few weeks I've had the most vivid and bizaar dreams. Last night, I dreamt that Coldplay was releasing a surprise new single - without LP5 being completed - called "Mix Up." and that the whole web-site was changed so it was all in X & Y code. All that I remember is that the video was premeiring on MTV and there was a bright white background. The only person I got to see in the video was Jonny - wearing a really brightly colored pirate costume. Think of their Grammy outfits, but as pirates, with hats and all. Then, for whatever reason, someone changed the channel on the TV in my dream, so that's all there was to it. Let's hope this is not a precursor to LP5. haha

This was my third show and it was fannnnntastic. :) I was at the c-stage, front row, right up against the fence... Jonny slapped my brother's hand... it was awesome. :) Glad that you had a good time as well. Hard to believe it was about a year and half ago.... hope they come back...maybe to the new Pens stadium?? :)

I'll be 6 months pregnant at that time, so I won't probably won't be able to fly across the country at that time anyway... but it totally sucks it's not open to the public. I seriously hope they come out and announce they're giving their money from this to charity or something...

I think Hearbreak Warfare by John Mayer would be billion times better by our boys. :) but that's just me...

He really does! :laugh3: It's absolutley hilarious! It's so exciting to see him out and about performing though. Gets me geared up for LP5 - even though I know we have a while till it comes out...still gives me something to look forward to. :D

To me, it looks like he and Gwyneth notice them. It's almost as if he's developing some sinister plan to get back at them (rubbing his hands together and about to break into an evil laugh), and Gwynnie is laughing about his remarks. So cute. lol

It seriously pains me to hear you speak of "old people" being in their 30's or 40's. This is in no way directed at you, but at people on here who think they are somehow superior because they are younger fans. I am 25 and in no way consider myself old or "boring" at their concerts, or any concert for that matter. I think everyone needs to remember that each person, regardless of his/her age, responds differently at concerts. I've been to several concerts with "young" people and I couldn't have been less bored by their reactions. However, I've also been to several concerts with "old" people, and have been amazed by how crazy they get. I just think everyone needs to remember that Coldplay did come out with Parachutes over 10 years ago, which explains why they attract "older" fans to their shows. However, I also think everyone needs to look at devoted v. fickle fans, rather than "old" v. "young." Because, let's be honest, there are several "young" fans who react worse than how people are describing "old" fans. Sorry if this came off as being a bit heated; it's just frustrating to hear people make such generalizations.
