I grew up in Altoona. You? And that sucks about your dad. Hopefully, he'll come around. My mom is very similar right now. She LOVES the song Viva La Vida but claims that that's their only "good song." Every other song I play for her is like..."ehhh...it's okay, but they'll never be as good as Viva La Vida." I did get her to like Lovers in Japan (Osaka Sun Mix) and Violet Hill, though. So that's at least a start. So, if I can get her to start to change her mind, maybe there's hope for your dad! :)

I dunno though. When I went to see Green Day at an outdoor venue in Pittsburgh, they shot confetti all over the place, just like the butterflies...so there is hope!! :)

So, has anyone been to a show here recently? How tough is security there? How easy is it to sneak in a camera?

This is crazy because I grew up about two hours from Hershey and performed there in my high school's marching band, too! Now, I live a bit further away, but what a small world! :)

This sounds really stupid, so please don't judge, but where is a good camera hiding place? hahah I left mine at home for the DC show in October and I swear that every single person had a camera, but when I went to an Eddie Vedder show in DC, there were CRAZY about camera control - at first, they wouldn't even let us have cell phones because of the cameras! So, long story short....where do you hide your camera? :)

I think shirts would be awesome! Are we all still wearing red, black, and white (VLV colors)?

me too....is anyone planning anything special for this show...like special colored glowsticks or wearing certain colors or making signs? I'm just so excited!

I think you might be right. My husband got on right when the tickets went on sale and it gave him GA tickets, but when he went to check out, the computer did this weird glitch thing and wouldn't advance to the next screen, so by the time he got back in the system, they were up to row 18, which is what we have. So, I'm happy to be that close, but how cool would GA have been? They could've fallen on me! :P

So, what else is anyone planning on for this show? I am so pumped. Any signs or clothing attire I should know about? :) It'll only be my second time to California. Can anyone suggest any must-see or must-do stuff for a weekend getaway, other than seeing the best band in the world, of course?

So...is anyone else the slightest bit excited that the best band in the world might possibly mention the best football team in the world, since they're in Pittsburgh? lol I am so pumped for this concert, especially since it's in Pittsburgh. :)

Tell everyone you know who is going to this show to show their suppport for the best band in the world by wearing red, black, or white. I know people did this at another show and heard it turned out awesome. How cool would it be for our boys to look out and see a sea of their Viva La Vida colors? Any takers? :)
