I was talking to a friend fom Berlin and I was just telling him how I felt strange around Germans because they seem so serious and calmed next to me, and people in Latin America in general and I was explaining him my impression of them when he told me that more than being serious they were pesimistic. He told me that for example If the weather was not good, they would say that tomorrow it's going to be worst or something like that, so I told him that on the other hand, on Latin America you are most likely to hear "Don't worry, tomorrow will be better" even though it's very likely that it won't be better. And I thought it was amazing how such, apparently, unimportant comment tells you so many things about them. how does your culture influence you here? I try to stay positive and laugh a lot and just take things lightly because that's the way we do it here. And we always have an answer for everything, even though everyone knows it's so unreal, but we seem to believe it is. And that's all thanks to my culture (well, it plays a huge role)

Someone asked on the second or first page what a Raleigh Expedition is... Raleigh International is a british organization that works with young people. They run expeditions in differents countries for 10 weeks. Each expedition has 3 projects in it: Scientific, dventure and Community Service. About half of the people come from the U.K + 10% from the U.K but from "difficult background" (like in rehab) + 20% from the rest fo the world 20% Chilean ventures (or from the hosting country). In our group we have about 100 Britons and 10 Chileans and I don't know about the rest. We work on the XI region of Chile, which is huge and there's barely anyone in it and people's age goes from 17-25 (I'm the exception) and it's a team work thing, it helps you to develope another skills and that's the general info about the expedition.

why when you are having a bad day everything works terrible so the day looks even worst? :lol: I'm starving and my parents did meat pie and they didn't realized I was at home and I went to have lunch and there wasn't any lunch for me, not even salads today and they haven't got time to go to the supermarket so there isn't anything to cook so I'm starving and our driver's not here so I can't go to the town and all they had for me was "talk to the Swizz, will get something to eat later!" I hope to get asleep soon and forget this day and yesterday and the whole week.

a mi papá és bien cerraod de mente, pero comprensivo por muy contradictorio que suene. Mis hermanos son geniales... son muy entretenidos, simpáticos e inteligentes y nos llevamos excelente. Mi hermana... ella es ella. Y mis amigos... tengo una amiga intima, que en realidad no le cuento mucho porque no me gusta que se sienta trizte... osea le cuento las cosas desde el lado positivos y no mis experimentos porque o sino me interna :lol: y he perdido a todos mis amigos con el tiempo... al final eran meros conocidos. Creo que me iria bien y psiquiatra; el papá de uno de mis mejores amigos es psiquiatra y nos llevamos re bien, aunque siempre pienso que me analiza. Para más encima, me invita a su casa!!! Igual, creo que lo mejor es escribir, aunque nadie lea lo que escribo. Me hace sentir bien :)

jajajajaja, no seas tan serio, si no era un reto o algo así. Solo un simple comentario. Con mi mamá hablamos de las drogas, peore lla me da el discurso de son malas y no las tomes, y no entiende mi curiosidad, meramente, científica. Es bien abierta y se puede conversar con ellos (mis padres) pero como en la familia son bien religiosos, por mis tías Testigos de Jehovah y mis tios bien católicos, no se puede hablar de sexo, drogas y vida sin matrimonio, lo que encuentro bien ridículo. Peor mi familia es más relajada, solo que caiss iempre estan trabajando así que tampoco los voya preocupar con eso. Ah! sé lo que se sienten lo de las vacaciones. Las mias estan MUY aburridas. Hoy he sido como Santa... todos me han llamdo para conseguir entradas!!!! (eso si yo no las regalo) Comt odos mis amigos viven en el campo, yo debo hacer las llamadas y las compras por internet... ha sido bien entretenido. Ah y el Lunes me invitó a almorzar un estudiante de Agronomia y después me invitó a ir a una cosa de Jazz (él toca Jazz). Y eso ha sido casi todas mis vacaciones, osea todo lo digno de ser contado.

Gracias por el consejo. Creo que ya tengo bastante claro que empezaré por los hongos y cuando cumpla 18 voy a probar con lo otro. Por si algo pasa, yo soy legalmente la responsable.

ah, si, la mariguana es muy fácil de conseguir. Los amigos de mi hermano fuman y demás que consumen coca. Yo no pongo problema al respecto, osea si las quieren ocupar bien por ellos. No veo por qué la gente a veces hace el medio escandalo. Yo creo que me puedo asesorar bien con los hongos... si esta genet sabe harto y son bien simpáticos. Si sé. I could lock myself up, thought that doesn't seem to be very safe :lol: Thanks for the info though! It does help me a lot and it makes me wonder If it's woth the bother to go into the black market... I could get mushrooms from the Indians and theys eem to work alright aswell. Everyhting I get on the internet makes it look as terrible..... wo!!! scary and everything

I would like to know (based on most cases) If your blood pressure goes up, If there is no problem in using it If you are diabetic, how long do you have to wait to get another dosis, If it's higly adictive ... that kidn of things. I could probably get most of that from the net (and I have in some cases) but I don't trust everything in there. Suddenly, someone's recommendation/comment seems more "true"

I'm askign about it because I thought someone had tried it and I wanted to ask a few questions about it before. That kind of things are a taboo here, you just don't talk about it, and there' no way to get into or get them legally. So IF I'm going to get into the black market to get that I would like to know a couple of things before. I'm not really asking for an advice, I know what people will tell me and most people will not understand my motives and aims.
