I know what you mean ginger......... but I see it in this way..... in the late 60', 70', 80' and the beggining of the 90' there were 100 bands for exampke and 90 of them played good music, some of them are not what I like as a music style but I reckon (not sure if that's the word) that some of them have good guitar, bass, drums, lyrics, vocal.... etc.... now, instead of that we have everythign made on studio, comercial, etc.... now are a few.......... anyways there's still good music on the market..... following my criterios.............. Anyway, ginger you're right, I just didn't expressmy idea very clearly...

ah.... c'mon what's that thing about pop punk?...... Avril is a pop singer or a punk singer .. while she prentends to be a punk singer, but she's not...... You can't say pop /punk...... now you will say u2 is pop /rock, I ron Maiden is pop/ D. Metal, Coldplay is pop/rock and so on.......... I mean you can call them pop from the word popular but not from the music style "POP" from the 80' 90' from all the PopArt, PopStyle and PopMusic ........ Define Pop as a music style or as somenthing popular .....

I agree, she have, potencial but she needs a more time. I somentimes don't like her actitude like " I don't care what ppl think of me and what I do" but I think that makes her different to all the pop starts, that call themself singers when they can not write or sing somenthing properly.

I hate pop music but she called my attetion so I bought her cd and it was OK, I wasn't expecting somenthing very good but it was OK. Then I saw her live and It was horrible....... she sux, her voice is totally different to the cd' voice, besides she get tired very easily, she coudn't run, jump etc... (I think) because she's new on the bussines.

I'm new here ........ and I've try to be nice and write as clear as posible. I agree with Mrs. Whats.......... when you were new here noone told you " We don't want new persons here"...... If you don't want me to post here, fine, I won't doit, but really it's not fair to have the community "open" and then when you post or somenthing the ppl here tell you " We don't want you". It's not my fault live here, where everything is a step back... I mean Coldplay cd was release here like 3 month later. It's not my fault live in the last place on earth. I always feel bad with myself because I was born when "good music" was over. I grow up listening on the radio pop music, wich I hate it, only at home I can listen good music, then no one make concerts here, half of the bands I like are dead and the other half probably will never come here...... I'm not as luck as some of you that live in the UK, Canada, USA, France, Germany, etc...... you have the opportunity to watch them, listen their music on the radio, etc....... So please..... could you give an opportunity - For been part of the Community - Coldplay is one of the few bands that makes me think music is not lost .............

I love the band, is great and I haven't see then "LIVE" but the 1st song I download from them was In my Place (Live Sydney ) and he was ....... terrible, he couldn't get the "right" tone. Then I download the some song and it was better. I think Freddy Mercury's voice was better than Chris' I mean he's not the best singer in the world, but he's talented. I guess I "adore?" Queen because I grow up listening them, and Coldplay is a new band to me.................. anyway I love the lyrics Christ does and the atmosphere the band had, has , have , etc.... ( I'm not sure wich one you use)..... He's British acent is so lovely.................. By the way what is 24/7 or 7/24?

------ Not very good English ------------ Coldplay is great, but when I listen them I think they need to make their own style, I mean somenthing you listen and you can say this is Coldplay, there's no doubt. The 1st time I listen them I though on Radiohead and If you listen carefully they have a huge Oasis and sometimes u2 infuence, but they're not creating their own style, they're taking what have been done so far, mixed and included some personal things ... and that's Coldplay. I guess with the time they'll improve that, let's see If in 10 more years they have change or they're still the some........ So far good bands, the ones who have change music history started ad Coldplay, but then they develope a personal style, like The Beatles, Queen, U2, The Clah, The Ramones, Radiohead, etc..... By the way ..... I'm new

I'm new here, and my English is not my 1st len. so.... I think The Scientist is a love song, I don't know If he wrote it for a friend or for a girl but on the cd sad the scientist is Dan, so I don't think he wrote it thinking on God. It sound to me, like he's kinda "deseperate?" and ashe always says his biggest problems are girls........ anyway he look kinda gay to me...... ;)
