I'm stuck at school for the next 7 hours so I'm not able to watch :disappointed: But I'll be back later to catch up on everything else

Today I came across a gifset on tumblr of the 2009 , and I remembered how much I love the whole thing. And I can't believe it was 7 years ago! :stunned: And I also can't wait for the tour to start so that we have a lot of videos to watch and a lot of stories to read on the forum! :wacky:

I think they've always been liked here ( a lot more than in the US, i'm willing to say). Of course there's always those people who act like music snobs and say they suck, but in general I think they are well received and liked. I also feel like there has always been a "bond" between the band and the country. I remember Mat Whitecross once said that they really love Mexico and they hardly get as excited in other places, and I think that a lot of that has to do with the response they get from the fans and the general public every time they come.

Jonas tweeted today that they will be playing at Festspillene Bergen International Festival on June 3rd. I'm glad to see that they haven't completely forgotten about Apparatjik, I hope we get new songs soon too :wacko: Unfortunately I don't think Guy will be attending, since coldplay is playing on mancherster on the 4th :(

Ok, I just watched it again and did enjoy it a lot more! I still think they gave too much time to B&B though!

First thoughts: Not enough Coldplay! B&B's time seemed like a lot. I feel like Coldplay got the short straw :( First, in my opinion it being a daytime show is already a disadvantage, but they made it look good. Also being a bad is a lot harder because you don't have 50 backup dancers that is very impressive visually. And then I feel like the images of the past superbowls took a lot of attention away from the band as well. I guess it was good, but it could've been a lot better. On a positive note: I liked the first minutes, they were very fun. Those flower umbrellas looked so pretty :wacky: and it had a very nice message which I feel the world really needs right now :heart: I'm sure I'll enjoy a lot more it the second time around

If it's hard for us to wait and the minutes seem like hours, i bet it must be nerve wracking for the band :sick: Poor guys!

I've officially started my break from studying in order to watch the halftime show. I hope it doesn't take that long for it to start. I'm excited :dance:

I agree completely, I was even kinda excited for HFTW but now...

I'm quite surprised as well. That's a weird pairing btw... Lost+ is probably one of my least favourite songs.

Ugh, I'm 6 minutes into the press conference and I feel like I'm going to stop watching it. It's filled with pointless questions which of course get no answers. About HFTW, I find it very strange that they said they are not playing it. From a business point of view it doesn't make sense :thinking:

Turns out I didn't miss much from the beginning yesterday, but it was lovely to watch everything again. I still laughed a lot :lol:
