  1. Finally got my ticket for Cinestar Dortmund. There were stil so many free seats...
  2. Anyone from Germany who did find information or advertisements on a german cinema website. There are still no infos. Or maybe I'm too stupid to find it...
  3. I don't know if it has been posted before. But this is a nice little video of the Coldplay stage production and the show conception, including interviews with Jason and Andy Bramley (all the interviews are in English, some part in German). [ame= ] [/ame]
  4. The Scientist video is EPIC with the beautiful lady sheding some tears at the end of the song. PURE emotion.
  5. Okay, let's begin with a short review (I am not really good in that, because I don't read any reviews anymore, except those in the forum here). It was just amazing. The weather stayed dry and sunny for the most time. No rain, but it was very cold, 8 degrees celsius. The stadium was almost full at 7:45, when Marina went on stage. I really liked her set, it got even better towards the end. But I guess most people did not know her or only her two popular songs in Germany. Charli XCX was okay, not my favourite music, but she did a decent job. During Marina's set it got dark outside, just right after eight o'clock. Crazy that summer is over. Marina finished at 8:30, Coldplay came on stage at 9:10. In the meantime the roadies prepared the stage. Miller did his panorama view and everybody who looked towards him raised his hands. Should be a good one, I think. Then Coldplay. And the first ten minutes was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Mylo Xyloto with the fireworks and the wristbands - WOW. The crowd was on top from the first song. Hurts like Heaven was a belter. As Chris shouted "Hannover", the stadium went crazy. "Oh boys, I guess, that is an amazing crowd", said Chris. In My Place: Confetti, Jonny on fire and much much love from Chris to Guy. Major Minus: Great finish. With all the clapping and Will's drums. Perfect. Lovers in Japan was amazing with the baloons and the confetti. Great singalong during The Scientist. Chris did a little introduction to Warning Sign. Something like: It is our last show today in Europe. We will be away for a longer time, but back soon enough I guess. We were in Germany the first time, when we were 21. This song is almost from that time. It's warning sign. We play it today, because we haven't written any better songs yet. DLIBYH was okay. Only weak moment. Bring back Politik! Charlie Brown was my favourite. Paradise was beautiful. Afterwards most people did not know that Coldplay went to the C-Stage. Surpise for most of them. Chris dedicated UATW to his mum. Speed of Sound went pretty well. Clocks a belter. Fix You beautiful, Jonny and Will on fire. I have never seen that Will hit the drums so hard. ETIAW was the best possible ending, Chris had the German flag raised. Afterwards Viva chants in the stadium. Today I am a little bit sad that Coldplay are going to make a longer break. But they need it - and they deserve it. I know they will be back - and I will be there. And for the next time, we still have the ColdplayFilm. One of the greatest nights of my life. Yeah.
  6. On my way home. I am still looking for words to describe it. It was far beyond amazing. Band were in great form, Chris did a little mistake before Violet Hill, don't know what happened exactly. Otherwise it was beautiful. The crowd was great, the AWD-Arena is such a lovely venue. Personal favourite of the evening: Charlie Brown. So straightforward, but so good. More tomorrow.
  7. It will be a sunny afternoon and evening. Yeah! Maybe, I will see some of you. Enjoy the concert, Hannover, the stadium and everything around. Excited to read your reviews afterwards. Is there anybody out there? Now, make some proper fuckin' German noise!!! Now let me see your hands in the whole place! Hüpfen, bitte hüpfen!
  8. I was at the AWD-Arena half an hour ago. They are still working, many lights were inside the Arena. And there was music, but not Coldplay. It was quite dark, no people or fans around. But a few security people. Everything around the stadium is fixed (entrances etc.).
  9. Lots of pictures from the AWD-Arena, where the stage buildup is under way. http://www.neuepresse.de/Hannover/Bildergalerien/Coldplay-in-Hannover-Buehnenaufbau/%28from%29/1446772/%28mode%29/full/%28offset%29/0
  10. I "only" have normal standing tickets. If anybody of you will be in this area, come and meet me. I will be there around four o'clock and probably I will bring a big white paper with a special greeting to this wonderful forum...;)
  11. I hope everybody will sing as loud as possible. The AWD-Arena has a great sound atmosphere, so we all just need to sing our hearts out. I am going to scream "Amsterdam" for the whole time :lol:
  12. Weather update: 15 degrees on Saturday. Chance of a few light showers at lunch time and in the early afternoon. Dry with spells of sun in the afternoon and evening. It will be windy. A storm is predicted for the North Sea on Saturday, but fortunately Hannover is around 150 km away from the sea. So we won't be affected with the heavy rain and storm, but at least more wind than ususal. I hope it will not be a problem.
  13. Okay. For your better orientation that is Hannover city or at least a part of it. The AWD-Arena is at the Capital A. Between the Hannover Hauptbahnhof (central station) and the Neues Rathaus (New city hall) there are quite a few parkingbuildings and depending on your arrival time free parking spots (costs are okay, a few Euros for the day, i think). Here is an overview of the "Parkhäuser" (only in German). http://www.hannover-verkehr.de/vseiten/branchen/parkhaus.htm My recommendation would be to drive to the "Parkhaus Osterstr". It is a 10-15 min walk to the Arena through the Maschpark-
  14. But probably no rain and sunshine in the afternoon. So I think that's fine.
  15. Ususally there is a huge parking place right next to the Stadium on the "Schützenfestplatz". But this will be blocked at the weekend, because they are going to build the Oktoberfestival. So there are NO parking places near the stadium. The local media have already reported that it will be necessary to park in the city and get to to the stadium by the underground, bus or have a walk. It's only 10 to 15 minutes from the City to the stadium - and it is a beautiful way.
  16. The concert is now sold out. No more tickets to get officially. I have no idea how to get tickets offline, maybe on concert day before the stadium. There are often some people who sell their tickets.
  17. Just checked some more media reviews. They were all very positive towards Coldplay and everything. And when watching some footage on YouTube, you see that the audience was in fine form despite the shit weather. The livestream wasn't that good. So all in all I think everybody was very satisfied.
  18. That's teamwork, you motherfucker:D:D:D
  19. Oh, this piano melody is so beautiful..
  20. The livestream doesn't have the best quality. Den Haag and Copenhagen were a little bit better. Ah, Jonny now on fine form during Major Minus.
  21. The crowd is quite loud. At least in my livestream.
