I think ETIAW is one of the best closing songs Coldplay ever made. Christmas Lights does not fit at the end of the concert. Kind of sad that they did not play it in the middle or right after Paradise, because we will never hear it live again. But concerning the decision between CL and ETIAW I always go for the teardrops....

What an evening! It was awesome. More later. My two highlights: I ran into Roadie #42. I jst said "Hello. You are Roadie #42, aren't you?". He said "Yes, I am. How do you know?". I told him that I am very often at Coldplaying.com etc. I said him that I like his blogposts. And he said he is going to try to do one for the Cologne Show, but cannot promise it as it is quite hectic before Christmas. He had to leave quickly to continue his preparations. Such a nice guy. And he wears funny glasses. My other higlight: Charlie Brown. Epic Performance. And Will was phenomenal the whole evening.:D:D

Ich war ja nun schon ein paar Mal in der Arena bei Konzerten. Die ist immer extrem warm. Würde also an eurer Stelle lieber ne warme Decke mitnehmen und die draußen lassen...

Ätzend, egal, wie man plant. Es kommt immer was dazwischen. Schaffe es jetzt wohl nicht vor 18:00 Uhr an der Arena zu sein (berufliche Verpflichtung, die ich ungerne absagen würde). Da seid ihr dann wohl schon alle drin. Na ja, dann nehme ich die etwas hinteren Reihen und kann vielleicht auch mal in Ruhe ein Foto machen :sneaky::sneaky: Wünsche euch ganz viel Spaß. Ich hoffe, wir teilen dann hier später Videos, Fotos und Erlebnisse. Habes es im Blut, dass sie morgen Christmas Lights spielen...:D

Guten Morgen. Ja, hier auch das Problem.

So, there is supposed to be an official announcement in the next hours. All the dates seems to be confirmed.

Gosh, halb zehn fände ich ja auch sehr früh. So groß wird gerade zu der Jahreszeit der Andrang nicht sein. Mittags sollte eigentlich wirklich reichen...;)

Längere Setlist wird, glaube ich, erst zur Stadiontour im Sommer passieren. Aber egal, 90 Minuten Coldplay-Power - lovin' it. Würde ja auch gerne mal andere Lieder hören, "In My Place", so schön es auch ist, nervt mich leicht. Ich bringe vielleicht nen großes weißes Schild mit. Darauf in dicken schwarzen Lettern: "Square One".:P

Mmhh, Kuchen:):) Wenn alles klappt, bringe ich ein paar Weihnachtskekse mit. Und wir müssen an Lebkuchen denken, vielleicht kommt Will dann mal vorbei um zu kosten. Habe an dem Donnerstag frei, werde nach dem Lunch losfahren. Schnee fände ich gar nicht so schlimm, das macht längst nicht so nass wie heftiger kalter Winterregen. Ansonsten mein Rezept: alte warme Decke, Müllsack als Regenschutz, warme Fließjacke, die ich in der Arena dann um den Bauch binde. Ausreichend zu trinken, eine Schreibe Brot. Und das sollte reichen...

The only thing I'm a little bit worried about is the weather. I hope it doesn't snow, because in this case the Deutsche Bahn is not as reliable as most times :P and it could get difficult travelling to Cologne. The sun has been shining since October in the western parts of Germany. So let's hope it will stay this beautiful until the end of December.

Don't worry. It's nice and safe, indeed. Of course some parts of the city are less safe. But not around the Lanxess-Arena and the train station Deutz.

Kind of strange that it has not been offically announced on coldplay.com As all the radio stations are giving tickets away, it will definitely take place. Hopefully Coldplay knows...;)

Könnte mir vorstellen, dass die Beschränkung nur für den Pre-Sale ist, damit nicht alle Tickets gleich weggekauft werden. Also vielleicht nochmal Freitag schauen, ob dann mehr Tickets geordert werden können. Ansonsten einfach jemanden bitten Tickets zu kaufen. Dürfte ja nicht so schwierig sein.
