I have to say... I've never met many Coldplay haters before. I think most Singaporeans actually like Coldplay or are ok with their music. Hate is wayy to strong a word to use.. And what's so gay about Coldplay anyway? Their music style? Obviously the haters aren't very exposed to different types of music..

I didn't really grow up listening to Coldplay although I was in primary school when they released Parachutes. I really got into them during the AROBTTH period (was in sec sch then) and yeah! Me liking Coldplay was a more gradual experience because I wasn't really into this genre of music back then. I was really more into the mainstream stuff. Then slowly I realised how good Coldplay was and then I also got into other bands.. yup.

Ahaha... yeah Interpol and Arcade Fire are good bands!! Rachel Yamagata is a solo aritist..more ballad stuff I think. I don't listen to her music but I've heard of her.. yup

Hmm.. I listen to alternative/indie stuff. like U2, Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, etc etc.. As for Rachel Yamagata..I'm not going. But I know someone who is! :D

Yeah. Kinokuniya may not have it anyway. My friend says they only bring in about 10 copies per issue...so they get snapped up pretty fast.

hahaa.. the mag had a surprisingly large amount of words and little pictures. I believe it's an extensive review of the Saitama gig. Cos there was a setlist in it. yup. My cousin takes Japanese...maybe i can get him to translate! :laugh3: I'm still on elementary level Japanese...not good enough to read a sentence :laugh3:

Oh yeah... the Japanese rock music mag, Rockin' On has Coldplay on the cover for the April issue..saw it at Kinokuniya. Expensive though! Cos the Japanese yen isn't friendly now... ... I bought it anyway XD
