The high E-string of Chris' guitar is probably tuned down to a D. Sounds good but I'm not sure because in the video it looks like Chris is playing the exact same riff as Jonny does at the end.

It's a good thing you will be playing the guitar. I'm not sure if you will actually get the guitar tuned all F. I remember reading that some of the guitars were tuned back to standard tuning. My telecaster came in EADGBE as well, however I am sure Jonny used it for trouble which is in EADGBD. It would be very interesting though, if the guitar is still in all F. I've recorded some covers of trouble by the way, using the guitar. If there's any interest perhaps I could upload one?

Chris smashes his guitars on the ground very regularly, I think Jonny has always been more careful with his instruments. :P And indeed, the painted one Chris is using is a telecaster deluxe instead of a thinline.

Actually I think the tuning yellowtalk was talking about is right, except for the high G#, that should be a c# as well.

No the strap was not included actually! I just ripped it off another guitar, so I need to buy a new one. I think it's time to change the strings as well, though it still sounds very good. @ rickenbacker: hope you'll get the number soon, maybe it's just much more difficult to despatch it all the way to tasmania?

The only thing I found hidden in the secret box was a key to lock down the case, so no broken strings or flyers for me :lol: This is the certificate that comes with the item!

They actually sent it inside the hard case. The case was wrapped with bubble foil which seemed to be pretty safe. They did a good job protecting the item in my opinion... I will now try to upload some pictures

I got Jonny's Black telecaster today! DHL shipped it so quickly, I will always be thankful about that! I hope I will be able to post some pictures this evening. Right now it's just pure awesomeness :lol:

Thats truly stunning! Gemma confirmed to me also that the bank received my money safely, so thats a relief. Hope they start shipping soon as, according to the pictures, everything seems ready to be sent.

I think you don't have to worry about that, those instruments traveled a lot already and I think the hard-cases protect them quite well. And yeah, a future meeting would be nice.
