  1. I had to watch this at my parents' house because they have HDNet and I don't. My mom, whose musical tastes range from Donny Osmond to Barry Manilow, said "They sound like they are on LSD!" to which my sister replied, "Do you even know what LSD is??" :laugh3: I informed her, of course, that Coldplay doesn't do drugs. :smug: I am curious, though, about the title of the show: "Coldplay: How We Saw the World." At the end, Jonny & Chris hold up a fanmade banner that said "Coldplay: How We See the World." Did they name the show after that fanmade banner?? If so...that is too cool and what an honor for that fan! Loved Chris' curly hair in this, btw :D
  2. I am so jealous of that crowd! My crowd in Hershey was like this :\ I would love to be part of a crowd like that and just go wild!!! Also...does Guy have no butt? :sneaky:
  3. LOL how tall is Guy, because he looks like a wee little guy (:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3:) next to Mr. A-ha! Chris has been with me here in Pennsylvania, where I have been holding him prisoner so no one can cut those gorgeous curly locks off! I have also been drilling him for recommendations for the best products for people with curly hair, since my curly hair has been unruly of late. I gotta say, I have been wanting to go to a festival pretty badly after hearing about all these festivals lately, but after looking at those pics, I just want to take a shower, wash my hair, and take a nap!
  4. Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one celebrating the Chris Jonny love on LRLRL! In fact, he says "J!" twice during Death and All His Friends and says "Keep going J!" during Clocks! Hmmmm..."Keep going J"....o rly? That's what HE said! :laugh3::laugh3: Also, my favorite Coldplay song of the day is Lights Will Guide You Home :D Oops, wrong thread! :P
  5. Please tell me I'm not the only one who says "J!" when I'm singing along with Death & All His Friends on LRLRL!! I swear, I'm going to wear that CD out. The best things in life certainly are free :)
  6. Pete Yorn brings up a good point, and one I wondered about at my show in Hershey. Why aren't they doing Speed of Sound on tour?

  8. Thank you for all those great pictures, especially this one.... Image doesn't seem to be working for me :( Here is the link, great picture of Chris  http://s637.photobucket.com/albums/uu100/twiqz84/?action=view&current=IMG_0160.jpg
  9. Hey, yinzers! Have a great time at the show tonight, and remember, them boys need screamed at!!! :laugh3:
  10. Oopsie, should Guy have been tweeting that he is hanging out at other rockstars' houses on the night they canceled the Scranton, PA show?
  11. I absolutely agree with you about the lame crowd! Seriously, I am thankful that everyone on the floor remained standing the whole time, because I have been to shows around here where people only stand up once in a while, then sit back down, and the artist is like "C'MON PEOPLE STAND UP!!!" I'm not sure where you're from, but I'm from Allentown, PA, and I will go there...we are not all Amish in Pennsylvania as some people think, but there is definitely something that keeps these people around here from going nuts at shows! Does anyone else from around here agree? I was embarrassed, too, that no one was keeping up the OOOOH's to get Chris back to life, I was like didn't you people download LRLRL?!?!!!!! I think he was making fun of the crowd a little with a weak, OOOOhhh, then they were like eff it, we will just start Lost now! I'm curious to hear how the crowds in Camden, and then Pittsburgh are. Also, there was no cheering when Chris took his jacket off, so I too refrained :laugh3:
  12. Just back from my 1st Coldplay concert and I am beat!! However, if I am beat, I can only imagine how exhausted Chris is after the show! Ah Chrissy *swoon* I officially decided I love him when they showed him on the big screen playing the piano, I forget what song it was. But the man runs around like a MANIAC and I LOVE IT!!! The whole band reminds me of the Muppet band with their crazy energy. More tomorrow!! -S
  13. Hello all! It's such a perfect day in PA and it's going to be such a beeeeaauuutiful night! I just got a ticket yesterday for the show tonight (squeeeee!!) I had tickets for Scranton, and was so disappointed when the show was canceled, I actually stopped listening to Coldplay for a while! I wasn't mad at them, I was just really disappointed. I heard Montage is a beautiful venue, and Hershey isn't quite the same, so I resigned myself to not going. Then Guy started tweeting from the road last week! Argh! And I started listening to VLV again...and I downloaded LRLRL!!! I was basically in a public park taking a walk acting like I was in the crowd. I decided I had to go...but I couldn't find anyone to go with me :embarassed: I'm cool with doing a lot of things on my own, but thought I couldn't go to a concert alone. Fortunately, I found the thread on here about going to concerts alone, and realized how much I would regret not going and how much this band means to me, so I am going!!!! I now I am going to cry...multiple times...hearing Chris sing live...it is going to be so amazing and I can't want to talk about it with you all tomorrow! -S
  14. Hi Hershey concert-goers... I was going to see my first Coldplay concert in Scranton until the dreaded news came. What a thing to have happened, especially after my sucky week full of April Fools-style bad luck, although none of them turned out to be April Fools jokes  Oh well, looks like I will be seeing Coldplay at the Sweetest Place on Earth now! I have only been to one concert at Hershey Stadium....*coughnsynccough*...and I was wondering if floor seats or bleacher seats towards the front would be better? Any thoughts? -S
  15. I definitely think Livenation is awesome  I was so excited when I got my tickets that I pretended I didn't notice the $19.00 "ticket fee" and tried not to think about how they could possibly justify that.
  16. Hi Coldplaying people, I just joined to discuss the cancellation of my very first Coldplay concert! I could hardly believe that I was going to be hearing this amazing band sing their amazing songs that move me so much IN PERSON! Then I got the tweet :veryangry2: Just a little while ago I got the e-mail from livenation confirming that the show has been cancelled and that my money would be refunded and I don't have to do anything. However, there was no mention in the e-mail about the magical code for the magical seats at Hershey. Perhaps the special seats are high above the park in the Kissing Tower?? :dozey: If I end up getting seats at Hershey, I will be excited, too, but I had heard such great things about the Montage venue--very non-stadium like--that it seemed like it was going to be the most perfect concert experience. Anyone else hear anything about the code yet? -S
