  1. "What's Up with Guy?? Edmonton Last Night What's Up With Guy??!! I ran into him after the Edmonton concert last night. I waited around outside and had met the Music (the opening act) and found them to be nice. I got pics and an autograph from them. Later, as my sis and I were waiting for a cab in front of the venue, we saw Guy and Stu (drummer of The Music) walking by us with a bunch of roadies. A couple roadies asked us if we knew where the Likwid Lounge was (where they were going to hang out) and we didn't know. A cab pulled up and we asked the driver. He gave me directions and I told the the roadie and asked Guy for a pic (as I had already met Stu). He flat out said "No" and thinking he was kidding I asked "really?" and he again said "No"-- major attitude! Then he walked off and the roadies followed. One roadie said "Aw, I think it's too late now girls" (I guess in an attempt to smooth over the situation). I said "thanks, anyways" and got a cab. I'm a big fan of Coldplay. I've liked them for more than two years now and I'd think that they would be kinder to their fans (well at least Guy). I was surprised-- we were trying to help them find the pub by asking the cab driver directions for them and he gave quite a snooty reaction to me asking for a photo. He could have said- oh we're in a rush, or sorry not right now-- rather than a straight out No. It was like he was insulted! Like I've said everyone else (being The Music) I met seemed great. And even when I met the Vines in Vancouver they were especially polite. They stayed and talked to everyone of their fans. So I was wondering about Guy. Does he have issues with the public or something? I remember he seemed anxious at a Much Music Intimate and Interactive sit down back in September. Does he not like people approaching him? " This was on the main messageboard -- I can imagine how I would have felt if he would have been so rude to me since i was at that show! I'm kind of not impressed/ And is he always this snooty with fans?
  2. ohh those nice teeth...grrrooowwwlll and the way he rrrolls his r's...
  3. Laura! I love the Ed Banner :)
  4. okay! this is almost IT! OH MY GOD! I WANT TO HUMP THIS PICTURE!
  5. I am willing to bet that hunky Guy is not a smelly Guy :) Yah, I too like the chest hair...it's very masculine and sexy...kind of like that wild mop he has on his head :) and the scruffy beard...and the tight pants..drooooooolllllllll... Oh lord...it's horrid :) My fiance finds my little obguysession quite humourous. He only approves because he quite likes Guy and the boys himself.
  6. it may be funny, but so so very true :) i was absolutely starstruck :)
  7. Guy wore this shirt last night. I could have died! I guess he wears it lots, but I got to see it live! Oh lord...it was magic :) That sweaty sweaty magic...

  13. Jess: I knew the words to "Poor Me" also, and to "one i love" I was looking around grumbling! :)
  14. Hi guys! Well, it is over..not one hour has yet passed since the boys left the stage in Edmonton. The show (as predicted) was absolutely awesome. I was squished up to the person in front of me the ENTIRE time, but managed to be no more than 10 feet from the stage at all times. The highlights of the show were Jonny playing the harmonica, Chris singing sk8er boi by Avril Lavigne, the fact that they played "One I Love" and me...staring at Guy. HE WAS WEARING THAT TIGHT BROWN BUTTON DOWN SHIRT!!! OMG!!! I couldn't believe it. I'd insist that he looked my way a couple of times, but, nah you wouldn't believe me (but he did!) Even my fiance laughed at my pre-teen stupidity :) After the show, they handed out a bunch of backstage passes, which I didn't get, but I didn't hesitate to notice that a slew of hoochie mamas got them :-x Oh well, I wasn't able to stay any longer, but my friend Liz hung around the tour bus, so maybe she got some autographs...Attached is a picture of my Coldplayed bosom the way it is right now, right after the concert, right before I am about to shower. I waited a long 2.5 years for this concert. It was amazing. I am sure those of you who were there will agree, and the rest of you who are about to see them on this leg of the tour have TONS to look forward to.

  21. since i don't know anyone on here, and mainly because i don't post that often (quality not quantity), i'm going to have to say sarah because i chatted on msn with her a couple of times, and she's canadian, and most of all i wanted to put my two cents in because i just am like that.

i want to live in a wooden shed, where makin' more friends would be easy... nah, i have a metal shed with this cheesy little wooden ramp to go up the whole 4 inches between the base of the doors to the grass...except I left it down most of last summer and all the grass under it died. Inside my love-making shed is a lawnmower, a rake, and some old pots...and dirtiness...
  23. Yes, it is possible for a band like Coldplay to have a not-so-great song...I personally find it odd that some people could say that they love EVERY Coldplay song! (I mean, I love Coldplay, but seriously now...it's called FILLER!), and in my opinion, that filler is Green Eyes...it reminds me of a tear in my beer country tune kind of...having heard all of the b-sides off of "a rush of blood to the head", i can think of at least 2 they could have replaced "Green Eyes" with. Maybe I'd like it more if it was about brown eyes, and then they went on to mention my name...but that's just me.
  24. well, it should be good for a few reasons a) smaller venue..probably no more than 4000 b) coldplay! (need I say more?) c) i'm gonna be focusing in on a few SHAKIN' ASSES belonging to certain members of the band coughcoughguycough with my binoculars!!!! d) cos i'm damn excited! I'll be sure to let you know how it went...I'm sure jess will also as we are likely on the same page here.. weeeeee
  25. i don't think so either, sorry..
