DVD question: Alright, so I didn't pay that much attention first viewing because I was busy. During the telling of the joke part when they show all that footage moving by real fast, does the video stop and you see some of their faces and a big black part of the screen? Just wnated to know if that was normal or not. Thanks.

Way to go, Paula. :) Yea, well it did come from overseas. But I think one of the main issues was with the creditcard I was using. :shrug: I can't be sure. It was still worth the wait. And worth the money I paid for it. Erm... My friend paid for it. But it was worth it for me, still. :) edit: I'm reminded now that I have very bad luck when I buy online. I ordered a CD online before and I haven't done so since this incident happened. The shop we bought it from was shit when it came to costumer services. We called and asked how it was being delivered, how much they had in stock, when we were getting it. (And I say "we" as I was a child and did it with my mom's help.) We got told one thing, then another, and then finally after two weeks of waiting we got it through US mail in a FedEx wrapping when they said UPS!

It's better to see it. :) I think I smiled the whole time and didn't take my eyes away from the screen... Even though I was supposed to read the Danish translation. And then I accidently deleted it... So now, I just won't know what they're saying. (I actually can rip video and audio from video, it's always worked for me... But I'm fairly new to it. I mean, Ive been doing it a lot recently, but maybe I could try? There is, I think a snippit from the dvd on Youtube, but not a part with the actual band.)

Man I'd love to be a lady friend of Bo's... I remember this interview (links now dead?) where he mentioned the size of his.... and how good he was in bed, though the fact he was good in bed had little to do with the size of his.... because apparently it's not.... ya know. O_O

I love the part about the bad joke. Apparently Bo heard it through a friend, he told Jonas on the plane and Jonas thought it was alright, Jonas tells their friend from Argentina (I think) who in the video tries to tell them how tthe jokes goes. And he whispers in to the camera "Jonas told me this joke yesterday and I thought it was the worst joke ever!" Made me laugh so much... And the singing of the bangles The "Sup, foo' *makes face like snoop dog*" :lol:

By the way, something had gone wrong with ym order of Live in Copenhagen.... I had waited for weeks... And had thought maybe it's best to forget about it, okay? So this morning I have this weird dream that wakes me up.... and it' has to do with someone posting a link of Live in Copenhagen on Danish television. And I so badly wanted to watch the link online but I couldn't. :sad: And in my dream, which is impossible, was me watching in on tele here in America. And I'm thinking as soon as I awoke.. "Not possible..." Later that day (this very day) I take a nap, my roommate comes in waking me up saying... "Wake up, Olivia, you've got mail!" And I'm thinking... "Wtf she;s on my computer, AGAIN?!" "What, how would I have email, how would you know that?" And when I wake up I AM grumpy so I kinda spazzed at her... She hits me in the face with this thing... feels soft? And says to me, "Shut up and look! Wake up already!" And I do... "You've got a mail with my name on it..." And that's when I realize it's my dvfuckingd!#$%^%^ I try to grab it and say "Give it to me!" But she says.. "Wait, it's got my name on it." (here she's just toying with me and making me angry...) And I'm like, "Well. I had to put down the name of the card carrier." She gives me a dirty look and sigh, leaves after she gives me the dvd, I turn off the light in my bedroom, and straight to my tv and dvd player. I watched the Making of Kites... first and then the concert. LOVED IT!!!!! And by the way Jonas has pretty toes. XD

Wow. I only have 1,300 pictures of Mew. I know I'm missing a lot (I thought I saved some but didn't and now cannot find them) And I don't have magazine scans or anything like that. :cry:

Mica is awesome! I almost forgot about it. I prefer the original verison of the song, but the video is fun to watch.

Live Jonas sings his part, Bo sings, Nick sings and their bassist sings. And I love how throughout the song it changes. In the beginning only Jonas sings the first part. And then after the first verse I think his voice comes in again singing the next. And after the second verse I believe the "I could not be seen with you" part comes in and joins those two. I hope not. In the end of the song he sings "cars remain, remain." But the first remain part is sung also during the remade part. But I believe earlier in the song you can hear it go like this: "The rain is falling down, the cars remain.. (The rain is falling down the cars remain)" Like an echo sung differently? If so that makes it five. :smiley:

Lol. No Shadow Kick is just Jonas spouting gibberish. :\ Not their best song, for sure. Much like that other song... Beautiful Balloon, Jonas uses some gibberish in that song, he was trying to make it sound Swedish.. weird kid, that Jonas. And there is no official video for King Christian. You can go see a lot of hsi visuals on Youtube and a video they made for Behind the Drapes. Very beautiful visuals. :) Right now I'm loving most Mew songs. Chinaberry Tree and all of Kites are what I'm digging right now. I love those 'S' songs. Some of my Mew favoites. :heart:

When I first heard "Symmetry" I was in love with it. I don't know what happened. "Chinaberry Tree" gave me chills at first listen. So much so that after I finished ATGHK it was that song and "Zookeeper" I played over and over and over again for hours. From Frengers, it's hard to say. Sorry to edit this for the hundreth time: My favorite video I have to say is either the official CS video of the Yahoo live version of it. Am I Wry? No. Was the first video I saw of them, so it'll always be special to me. 156 is funny with Jonas' dancing and Bo's jumping. But it's a great concept. And yea, Jonas sings all five different parts on the album but in the video they're all singing (or should I say "lipsynching"?) to different parts of the song. :) When I saw the thing Jonas was doing with his arm, I wouldn't have guessed it symbolised the elephants trunk. I think that's really cool.

Okay, question. Am I the only one on this Mew thread that hates Symmetry? It's my least favorite song. I know I'm among a lot of other Frengers who dislike it, but I strongly believe I'm the only person who has posted here that doesn't like it. Another question: Did anyone find the boys movements in the "Zookeeper's" video to be really cute? Jonas' moving/dancing, the thing he did with his arm (the elephants trunk) and Johan and Bo rocking out and lipsynching. It all looked like such fun. And my last question: What's everyones favorite Mew song and Mew Music video so far? :)
