Mew
The bottom of this page worries me: http://forums.mewsite.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=14112&start=225 Is this Mew's last record with their lable or do they still have two to go? This makes me believe this is their last. And also, the review of their gig surprises me not. It's to be expected by now. ;)

Hey Parachutes. I've been listening to more Kent actually. :P And Hi Nathan... :dozey: this is an OT discussion thread for Mew fans to talk about whatever the fuck they want. It's like most "So-and-so and friends OT discussion but others are welcomed" thread. We do however talk about the band a lot here, so some "others" might feel left out.

My friend just told me he has a feeling I'd give super good head. :stunned: He also said I should try to make it to a concert with him so we could have sex. Ofc, I wouldn't be allowed to tell his gf any of this. :dozey: My friends... This is funny: http://imgur.com/6zjNO.jpg

We just hit the two year mark. Their life span is four years. I guess in a way they're middle aged. :\

I think they have this disease: "You're seeing the early signs of septicemia, which is a systemic bacterial infection. Fortunately, it is rarely life threatening and easily treated. Start off right away with more frequent water changes-- poor water quality not only allows the infection to get set it, but also exacerbates the problem. Along with those water changes, you should consider an antibiotic, like Maracyn 2, Furan 2, Furanase, Metronidazole, Metro+, Kanaplex, General Cure, Fungus Eliminator (very effective against certain bacteria), and similar products effective against gram negative bacteria, particuarly those that are anaerobic. During treatment, be sure to remove any activated carbon from the filter, and maintain water quality with water changes every few days. EDIT: It's not extremely contagious, but it can be. The bigger problem is that all your fish are likely stressed, and the bacteria is probably in your water, meaning all the fish are susceptible. Water changes and medication for the whole tank." or this one: "Dwarf Gouramis have been plagued by iridovirus lately, which is not curable. It often starts off with hiding, open wounds, darkened color, refusal of food, swelling, and other symptoms conducive to fish TB. The best I can recommend is to hope for the best and keep the tank clean." I'm hoping for the first one... :(

Ended to be overwhelmed If the record's first song, "«New Terrain«, be played backwards, be revealed another song with the title "Nervous". "Nervous" back plays on earlier well-known Mew-themes, like living life controlled by fear. "«New Terrain "on the other hand is more a kind angry fight, where the three present band members Bjerre, Bo Madsen and Silas Graae have to go out and face the world, without bassplayer Johan Wohlert who gave in in 2005. In the end of August they have to three out and tour in the US together with the legendary rock band Nine Inch Nails. At first I was awfully nervous about that tour that we had to look like weakling boys on the side them. But I think that the fans theirs really is awfully intellectual, and that they are open for unequal types of music, Bjerre backs out on a telephone Japan, where they play two concerts in connection with one's ongoing tour. If I had known that I had to tour with Nine Inch Nails when I was 14 years, I had freaked (?) entirely out. But now I have really ended to be overwhelmed, he says. From Japan Mew travels furthermore to Bangkok and Indonesia, before they on Wednesday will be klare for oslo and Øya festivalen. And for Mew it's lovely to be Danish in Norway. You accepted us much earlier here than they did at home in Denmark, and it was a so rewarding experience. People got contact with us in a completely special way, I do not know completely why. But you feel awfully special when you are playing a place where you are then accepted, he says.
