So true thanks for a great comment. I hope that people give me many comments after reading this. OK, on ETDIAWF my big thought was 3 years since Viva launched in 08 and this is it? I hated it and felt it was weak the first time I heard it compared to all their great songs before. Now after 4 days and 9 listens, I like the beginning and middle (still not a fan of the end) and I think it's better than their new songs they were playing live at the german festival (excluding Major Minus.) Some may disagree but their ringing guitars and tempo are too U2. Eno opened them up with Viva which I appreciate but now he's bled our beloved boys dry. Some people said they hate "now my feet won't touch the ground" I just think its just a weak song. This new acoustic song chris and will play is weak too. its sad to me how they can't do stripped down any more which is what all of parachutes was and was the basis for great songs "green eyes" and "a message". Concert review I wished they'd go back to scientist, gpasuyf and politik live they did in 2006 twisted logic tour where chris did cool voice things with the crowd. If you were at these concerts you know what I'm talking about. Then in germany they played the new weak songs and went into "life is for living"!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a fan i watched the new songs and then saw that one played. The band needs to realize the differences between that old song and their new ones is HUGE. I mean HUGE. The lyrics, sound, all immensely better. And old coldplay is not the only coldplay, everyone likes spanish rain and christmas lights so I guess they need to get it together. probably fair.. but in my place has great drums guitar and live energy.. after seeing them live 5 times i've integrated that song as awesome and i can see your points about it now. Still that song is much better than ETIAWF. I didn't care for viva tour god smile (although loved talk remix) but even that song is better than waterfall. Its lyrics are weaker than any other song by them

You are correct my friend Hartroc that rush is best song on that album and by the band. It's so gritty with awesome lyrics and the sound... its so dark and moody.. Love to hear it at night. I feel like animals is similar in feeling and quality. U?

its clearly the worst song off of the album... all others songs on rush are heads above it. i'm not saying its bad, just not as good as the other songs. understand?

I am a huge fan and love this band. This song has weakest lyrics of any they've done.. name one....a whisper... nappies song i think not I hope for the great lyrics chris once capture with the scientist or even recently with spanish rain. No one should love this song. You can like it but look at their past before blindly accepting this song. I will say it was good that coldplaying issued some comments from people who didn't go crazy for it. To be a true coldplay fan is to remain impartial and open. I've written songs and I know that criticism is tough but that doesn't mean you're hating on anyone. It means a genius like chris has been amazing in the past (many times ) and this outing was weak. Correct the problem and do what we all believe you can. MAKE HIT MEANINGFUL SONGS.
