Alright guys, let's have a little contest! Name your top five favorites that were performed. Be selective (I know they were all good!). Here's mine! 1. Viva la Vida-Nothing can defeat the viva-ness! 2. Lovers in Japan-The video and butterflies made this a definite favorite. 3. Yellow-Great performance and the yellow balls flying around was dramatic. 4. 42-Chris's bug eyes and improvisation was great. 5. Life in Technicolor II-A great ending song, and one of my personal faves. So ring off on your favorites from Wheatland!

Cool! I think I may have seen you at the concert too, at the Oxfam booth. Good review Jenjie! I gotta save it or something, it's one of the best! Politik hurt my eyes too, lol. I was also on the other thread, checking out the tweets the guy was giving threads to.

No, I'm back from slinking around like but a dream said. Yes Pris, you do a lot just to spam this thread. :P Yeah, I tried to make some noise, but the person in front of me (one of those people who kinda just watch the whole time) already sat down. So I just screamed for an encore, cuz I really wanted to hear L.I.T. II and the Scientist. Let's see if the audience got an encore going.... Yeah, the tourbook was pretty cool. $20 though....but it's a nice book. Got lyrics for Prospekt's March and Viva, and all that. (Who is Prospekt anyway?) And my favorites, the puppets, were on the cover. ^^

Alright, I'm back. Let's see if they get an encore. Which they probably will. How many people can the stadium hold? (And I brought a bunch of that confetti home from the Wheatland show....they have paper ones, plastic ones, and foil ones.....they also were able to convince me to buy one of those book things. blasted salespeople. XD)

At Sleep Train, which was two days ago, they started at nine and went to eleven, with an encore (L.I.T. II and The Scientist). How is the weather in San Diego? Hot?

Man, 42 was awesome. Too bad you didn't get his bug eyes, Duran, that was hilarious. :laugh3: I definitely saw you CP. I liked your shirt. :) Your pics look a lot better blown up. That Yellow video is good. That was so dramatic, with Yellow playing while the yellow balls floated around. Someone left with one that was still intact. I liked it when Chris started popping them with his guitar. :P I'm trying to upload my own pics, but it might be a while. XD Just keep checking this thread. So who's going to Wireless Amphitheatre in San Diego? Anyone here?

I think I heard all that, but a lot of people were yelling. Though I'm pretty sure I heard ya. ;) EXCELLENT videos and pictures CP, you came prepared! And the video is so clear, and the audio so good too! (You have a good voice!) You got all my favorites....I am blissfully somewhere else right now. :D

I will! So how did you volunteer? Did Oxfam contact you, or you them? Your Viva video's pretty good! Mine was messed up visually, but yours doesn't have that flaw! (Although the audio's a little messed up, but that's not a big deal!) :) Good Green Eyes video! I could barely see that song because I was in the front....

It's working now! Yeah, I'm working on them, but it might be a while. D: Wow, I gotta volunteer for Oxfam next time. Those are good seats for volunteers. :)

That's a great vid Duran! Better than mine, which were messed up because of odd lighting and wrong settings, and I didn't get an entire song except for Viva. I'll try to get some videos up sometime. :D However, you're Viva video doesn't work. D:

lol, yeah, you did seem to be enjoying yourself. :) The first act was Kitty, Daisy, and Lewis, a band from the U.K. Amadou and Mariam were good, they're very percussiony :drummer: and from Mali. The first act runs from 7:00 to about 7:45, and starfish42's times are right as well. Don't fret if you miss the supporting acts though, Coldplay still is the best! And you guys did a good job at the Oxfam table! You convinced me! Were you guys able to hear Coldplay's sound check?

That sucks for you guys that they assigned you seats. I was lucky enough to get reserved, in row 10. However, it was an AWESOME concert. Amazing sound, light show, and the yellow balls and butterflies added so much to the performance. I especially enjoyed the light performance on Politik, and the Viva la Vida remix. I'll have to go again, and will be recommending Coldplay to friends. Chris was humorous and energetic (loved the bug-eyes on 42), even through the heat that didn't cool til late. Calling them out took some effort though (including cheering, screaming, yelling, and seat-banging). It is upsetting when others get closer seats or even sit in the pit when they barely seem to care about Coldplay. But as people mentioned, the band seems to be able to tell who's the true fans. :D On another note, I swear I saw you, CPRulestheWorld......but I can't be sure. :)

I feel the same. I checked the pick-your-seat map, and it seems most of the seats have been taken, so I'm keeping my hopes up. But yes, I would be really upset if they cancelled.....:( I'm glad I'm close because I figure I can make a run for the roadies faster than anyone else. I have my sights set on some picks or a setlist. :guitarist: Trying to look for the best techniques to get some.
