Max Masters always is a rehash of old interviews, clips and photo's. The only new thing to me was the recent interview stuff from the Inshalla period. There was a lot of stuff from the DVD and interviews from the Max Session from 2-3 years ago.

Doves To be honest, I only knew some of the hits. Did my best to sing along to those. Got to know them when we lived in the UK. They are much better known there. I thought it was pretty solid. Like you said, did miss the extra instruments. Love the singers voice. The first 4-5 songs the drummer and keyboard player were out of synch. I thought that pretty annoying, but not many people seemed to notice. Must have been the feedback or something. Was fine later. Seems like a nice bunch of blokes.

The Doves Hey Tauiwi, did you see the Doves a couple of weeks ago? I did. Loved it.

Thanks for the photo's. Fantastic pictures. You must have a great camera. I love the ones of Kevin Ginger Cookie hugging Kav and Kav doing the spirit fingers. Thanks for sharing them with us. I'm always to engrossed in the music to remember to get my camera out. By the way: a friend who's not a huge fan happened to go to the Rockwiz taping last week. Bloody jealous I am. When I get the gossip I'll let you know. I've seen some pictures and Kevin and Katie were there too. Another friend bought tickets for the Amsterdam Paradiso gig. The upstairs room only holds about 200 people. How awesome would it be to see them in such a small venue. Front row is right in front of the stage; no space in between. So, I'm jealous of him too. He didn't even know Eskimo Joe until yesterday.

Can't believe you didn't talk about the forum! Anyway thanks for the great video's! I'm going to Bluejuice next week. Something to look forward to.

Friday rocked So Grace and Tauiwi met. What does the picture with the horses have to do with that? The plot thickens. I was standing about 8 rows from the front right in front of Kav. So much better than Thursday when it was 3 rows from the front and I got blinded by the lights and had such a sore neck from looking up all the time. Sound was a lot better too. And men look a lot better without noticeable sweat. :wink3: I agree that Friday was much better than Thursday. The sight of a sold out Palace is fantastic. I had not noticed those tinny little balconies at the top before. Of course lots more fans too. More singing and clapping. Bob Evans band reacted well to that. They sounded a lot more solid. Great guitar solo in their second song, of which I was going to remember the title, and of course forgot. I loved Kav's partner/wife being there. Besides seeing one of Kav's rare smiles it made the songs so much more poignant. It was funny how he made so many mistakes at the start of Childhood Behaviour; sang out of key, voice choked up, sang the wrong line. Very sweet. Did you notice the mistake I think Joe made on Thursday in Older Than You? On Friday he did it right and they all started to laugh. Anyone else notice that? Had a great time. Keep the photo's coming!!!!!!!! Eskimo detox starting tomorrow.

Hi Tauiwi, yes there were a lot of good looking girls. Not me, I'm one of the oldies. Luckily there was someone next to me even older than me. If you do spot me, don't be scared to say hi: will be wearing black rimmed glasses, am small, definitely not slim, black t-shirt with a (very bad) portrait of Elvis and Pricilla on it. Hi Gracful, best place to stand depends on what you're there for. To see every drop of sweat and muscle go to the front, but the sound it muffled. For best sound and a good view on the small steps on the lower level (you can't miss them). For a good crowd view on the balconies. Watsername: thanks for giving the new times. They have been brought 15 minutes forwards, thank god. What will Bob wear today??????

Melbourne It was bloody awesome. How was Bob Evans dressed up as Jesus! Surprised to see Katie Steele. She's performing somewhere in the Gippsland this weekend. Didn't see you Tauiwi. I asked some tall blokes at the front, but they just looked at me like I was crazy. Did you get to the front? I was just a few meters away from Kav. My neck is sore from looking up and I was blinded by the lights, but could see every drop of sweat. Will go further back tonight, maybe on the steps. The sound will be a lot better there too and you can see the video stuff better. Now I need to try and get some sleep while inside my brain it's still going like: La la la la ... life is better with you

GGD's GGD's always have a way of making it to the front. I guess they wouldn't be a GGD if they're at the back (where we like them). Oh, to be taller. I wish. Only 4 nights sleep!!!! Thursday and Friday! I'm going to be a mess on Saturday when it's all over. Some serious detox happing next weekend.
