  1. I've got a mixtape from Swallowed Seaman to review and I'm terribly sorry it took so long to send it. I'm really aprreciated the music choice, discovered some unknown artists and revealed the good memories over the certain events. Here we go. 1. Radiohead - Bodysnatchers. It was very nice to start mixtape with my favourite band's song. Great choice! 2. Rock blues with strong country music influences. Strong nice voice of the singer and very energetic 3. It starts like one of U2 songs, but ends up with traditional American-style rock hospel with female chorus in the back. Sounds like lighter version of Everlast to me. 4. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Shallow Be Thy Game form One Hot Minute. It's interesting to hear they are back to their roots in the last studio album. Good choice. 5. What I like about this mixtape is a sense of live performance. Rapid and loud rock hymns are combined with slow-core melody pop songs - like in a good live performance. This one from Barenaked Ladies called Pinch me. 6. Sounds like American Arctic Monkeys. Cage The Elephant - Lotus. Really enjoy it. 7. Mixed it with QotSA first, but of course, it is Them Crooked Vultures - Elephants. One of the best so-called-new bands from last year. 8. This one is really good - great melody, great text. Kings Of Leon used to write good songs. The Bucket is one of the few :) 9. Another slow and silent song with great lyrics. Sounds like Bryan Adams with a band. 10. We Are Scientists - After Hours. One the best recognised song from these guys and a very deep lyrics, appreciate it a lot! 11. WoW!!! I really loved this one! Several parts of a song, instrumental beautiful entry at first, but then it's getting more and more fast and energetic to the real punk. The best track in this mixtape by far!!! Thanks for that! I certainly must download the full album of this band. 12. Wonderwall by Oasis but in some strange cover version. This I don't get - what is an idea making cover version just having basically the same track with the same approach to the txt and music. What's the point? 13. OK. Coldplay cover performed by some female singer. This is what I like in cover versions - when the artist changes the mood of the song - this one is really great, liked it a lot. And of course, Coldplay cover is a must in mixtape like this. And Yellow was a certain highlight from Coldplay 2009 tour - those balls I will remember forever :) Thanks, man! 14. Pearl Jam - Inside Job. Great song, one of the highlight of their live performance I had a chance to visit few years ago. 15. And the last one, also awakening great memories of one of the best lives from last year. Keane - A Bad Dream. I personally prefer Bedshaped, but this one is as good. Great job, man! Thanks a lot!
  2. Should I start worrying already since I received no mixtape so far?
