Necetla jsem nic, jen prohledla fotky. Ten thread je nekonecny... Tvoje fotky jsem prohledla tez, super!!! Co se festivalu tyce, chtela jsem letos na Muse na Rock for People, ale ve chvili, kdy jsem mela zajisteny odvoz i doprovoz, jsem si to rozmyslela... nevim nevim, z jake dalky bych je nakonec videla... Dostat se na nejaky koncert nasledujiciho turne snad nebude problem, ale mrzi me, ze jsem promeskala Viva Tour. Muselo to byt fakt velkolepe...

I kind of didn't get this comparison... a-ha were massive in the eighties, so are Coldplay nowadays. but this is all they have in common IMO... Chris himself says that Coldplay are influenced by a-ha's music, but I can't see much similatiries... probably the melancholy, most emphasized on a-ha's 8th album, Analogue (Keeper of the Flame and Summers of our Youth really remind me of Coldplay) But still, Coldplay are much more famous and succesful than a-ha. When dismissing the generation thing, do you think it was so because they weren't British? Do you think that bands which are not British must make an extra effort to prove what they are really worth?

I don't feel sad or depressed for some reason. But I guess those feelings will strike me as soon as the guys post their stories here :(

Indeed it isn't... I just wrote "about my age" as I think there's not much I could talk about to a 35 yrs old, for example. Well, no one about 35 would even notice this. :P

No. There's nothing interesting about this place. I'll move to some other country one day (probably UK or Norway) when it's possible. But I'm glad I live in Europe.

Yesterday I stated something like "Muse are atleast as good as Coldplay on stage, if not better" but now I realise how weird all such comparisons are... both Muse and Coldplay are special in their own way. Coldplay ain't no guitar masters, but they are more... communicative? I can't find the right expression, but you know what I mean...

Muse are at least as good as Coldplay when playing live. More like better, I'd say.

Germany, yay! I hope I'll manage to see them this time... I'd love to go to Glasto, but it's quite expensive :(
