one of the best german punk bands ever just released a new album ;) geräusch from die ärzte its really cool but I guess you never listen to german music and punk neither so its your own fault if you miss it I've done my duty and told ya bout it =)

it was so funny, when I was an exchange student in Fresno,CA for a few weeks my "exchange sister" always said "I'm just kidding" when she's been sarcastic or ironic and I mean, normally you guess when someone didn't meant it serious me and the other german exchange student told her to let it be, because "I'm just kidding" at the end of any phrase was a lil bit annoying and after all the last few days, we weren't sure anymore if she was joking or serious ;)

Nice idea this thread, that's what i wanted to say first ;) I guess my emotions aren't THAT different between, the most coldplay songs, but there are some lil differences, well though I'll describe mine for Amsterdam. Like every Coldplay song I'm depressed while listening, but this is one special, theres this part "time is on your side, is on your side..." at this moment I have to think of one girl and it's really like, when this theme appears I've got her face on my mind. And I get even more depressed anyway. (thats why I think coldplay-song emotions don't change that much for me)

I first heard of them, when i was an exchange student in Fresno,CA this easter, because my exchange dad is a coldplay fan and listened to them in the car to be true I wasn't that excited about em that time but 4months ago, when I felt in love, I wanted to listen to music while lying in my bed, so I took the only CD i could find and it was AROBTTH from my bro, he never got the CD back anyway^^ he got the cd from a friend who didnt want it, who has got it as a present from his exchange parents in manchester where he lived one year thats how coldplay found its way to me :D

if you wanna watch a really lovely movie with one of the best soundtracks ever, then watch forrest gump run forrest run... -.-

when she will just sing in one or two songs the next album, then I'm ok with her, but I don't want her as a steady member of the band =)

i mean they could have heard of the name at least ;) but i agree it wouldnt be the same if everyone would know their songs by heart at least my parents are getting crazy about coldplay because I'm listening to it whole day and sometimes so loud that the whole house has to listen =)

thx all though ;) this thing about trier 'd be the capital of europe is just from a quite popular song from a regional band and it's not meant serious at all =) I think coldplay is much too unpopular in germany ;(( last french lesson we came to talk about music, when it was my turn i said that I'd be listening to coldplay and my french teacher didnt even know who they are....

Hi coldplayers, my name is Tim, I'm from Trier its the oldest city of Germany, close to Luxembourg and the true capital of europe since the roman empire. =) I'm sorry that my Coldplay-love started only 3,4months ago, when i first heard the whole album "rush of blood to the head" and now when I'd like to go to a concert their 16months world-tour is over. About myself, I'm getting 18 soon, student in 12th grade, soccer player and listening to coldplay 24/7.
