omg! hahah if you froze your ass in Toronto, then you should come here. Last time I was in Toronto I wasn't wearing a coat at all and it was January! I'm freezing my ass off here when its below 35 lool! Hmmm not a huge fan but I like their songs. But someone invited me to go with them so I can't really say no, I would feel bad ahah. We practiced last week and most of the new songs including the ones that we will write sound alot better in the high register. Since I have a very low voice, what we do know is that we adjust the pitchm so that I can sing in the high register instead of the lower, you know so that the song has more emotion and so it becomes less monotone. I dont know if you understand what I mean though ahah. Thanks for the tip!

omg I can't stand snow! ahah I feel like I'm in like Russia or whatever cause it's soooo cold over here! We had a storm today but our school doesn't really care so they were still open loll. Okay fine, I love Montreal, but i HATE Quebec. It's just lame. But downtown Montreal is pretty cool, Muse is coming in 2 weeks over here! Can't wait!

Yeah well I guess you're right. It hasn't been my best day for a couple of days now and that's why I overreacted maybe. I've been going through a lot lately that's all. I guess I owe you an apology and my thanks, especially you PianoRocker. Sorry Reilly, sorry Briggins and HorrificAttack as well. Please try to understand how I feel now. It's not a little problem I'm going through now.

Reilly, we asked for tips so we can make better videos in the future. Unlike PianoRocker, you are not helping at all. HorrificAttack, that's the worst post ever, how can you say our songs that we haven't even finished yet suck if you haven't listened to any of them yet. And do you even know what a gig means? Our school organised a show and asked us to play for it. We did, and how weird... the crowd loved it. We asked a bunch of people for their opinion and well guess what... they found it amazing as well! Briggins, no, just stop. Look if you guys aren't going to do anything useful for us or to help us get better, then I don't see why you should keep posting bull on this thread. I suggest you leave, you did what you had to do and I thank you for that! (I'm being way over sarcastic, in case you didn't notice.) In the meantime, we will keep posting videos and we will get better eventually with experience.

@ Briggins and Reilly: We aren't trying to "change the world". I tried my best, to then learn from my mistakes. What, you expect me to just be perfect in our first few videos? No, the videos were not good, I know that and we will get better. But dont just tell me "Nobody likes Coldplay anymore". You are wrong. Just because you personally dont like Coldplay that much, that doesn't mean everybody is like you. You think it's a waste of time, thank you for your opinion, but just don't come here again

@ Prospekt: Our first song should be ready by the end of spring break, we were working on it a while ago @ PianoRocker: Thanks a lot for the advice, we changed our style and I changed the way I sing since those vids. I know my voice isn't nice at all but I'm trying my best to improve it although its just hard for me to sing in a high pitch. This is a studio we went to a few times so we cant really move the piano around. The sound also sucks because we didn't have the other camera that day. Video editing is also something I'll start doing. But the main problem now is my voice.. I might just go for vocal lessons. We don't have a drummer nor a bassist with us because its a small studio and the drums arent allowed there. Expect to see a bassist and a drummer for the next vids if I do want want to make more some day. But for now, with such a voice, I'll just stop recording.

Hello fellow Coldplay fans! A few months ago, my friend and I started covering a few Coldplay songs. We then decided to form an "acoustic band". After thinking for hours, we came up with "ColdKovers" (the K just looked so much cooler than the C) We started off with a few songs from the A Rush of Blood To The Head album (which we are almost done covering) and played The Scientist for our first gig at a school show of 400 people. Our ultimate goal however, is to cover all four albums including their singles. Sounds absurd but we know we can do it and to do so, we need the support of people who actually enjoy and love Coldplay the same way we do. We want your honest opinion so that we can improve our upcoming videos. From instrument suggestions to vocal tips and so forth. We would be extremely grateful if you would watch our videos. We are not spamming the forums, we just need your support, which is the key to our success. HEY COLDPLAYERS!! Alright so my friend and I are huge Coldplay fans and since he's really good at playing the guitar and I can play the piano and the guitar as well, we thought well we should do all the covers that we can do. Right now, we're working on the songs from A rush Of Blood To The Head and the next song we're doing is "Warning Sign". We are gonna play two versions, one of them will be the guitar and I'm gonna play some piano chords in the backround.
