[2017-7-11] Principality Stadium, Cardiff, UK
Delayed entry due to having to do another sound check as the roof is now closed. I guess that means it's staying closed. Should make the lIghtfield show better but maybe no pyros.

The roof may be open for the concert. Chris Martin's decision I've been told.

[2016-06-18] Wembley Stadium, London, UK
Well, my camera only records up to 30 mins in one go, and I had to change the battery half way through, but apart from a few short breaks (I missed the start of Heroes) I recorded the whole show. I did end up jumping around quite a lot so not sure the footage will be that good in places! As I was explaining on the night, if anyone else has some good footage (and we can find a decent audio track) I could be tempted to try and edit something together. Compared to what U2 fans get, the Coldplay world seems a little bereft of decent fan-produced material (check out some of the stuff on u2torrents.com). I recorded 4th June as well :)

How to sneak cameras inside
For U2 at Wembley, the camera policy was: Small digicams are ok, SLRs with Interchangable lenses were not. This policy was enforced, so be careful if you plan to smuggle in a large camera. Also, this was U2's policy. I'm not sure what Coldplay's policy is.

Queuing at wembly
I don't know how comparable it will be, but I was there for both U2 dates in August. There was no problem queueing from 8am. There were 2 GA queues: One for Gates B & C and one for Gate F. The Gate F queue was shorter, but you *had* to queue in the correct queue because your ticket would work only in the turnstiles for the gate that was on your ticket. You should be able to get very near the front if queueing from 8am, but I don't know whether you'll get on the barrier. Personally, I think it's a little nuts to be queueing much before 7 / 8am, but then there are those that would say you're nuts turning up before 3pm! :) Hope this helps. Jez
