Coldplay: The South Bank Show
Today on ITV1 London from 10:15pm to 11:15pm
Melvyn Bragg presents an intimate portrait of Coldplay, one of the biggest selling bands in the world. The film follows them for six months as they tour Japan, and record their new Brian Eno-produced album, taking in the Brits, the Grammys and the massive Warchild concert along the way. Melvyn talks in depth to the band members, and the film crew goes to the group's original student flat in Camden, and the nearby Dublin Castle where they played their first gig. With contributions from DJ Steve Lamacq and U2's Bono. SUB
