The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Meh...I'm more interested in my tape being reviewed. But I'm cool with just downloading other people's mixes, and I'll put my upload link here for anyone who wants to take a look at it/review it. :) http://www.megaupload.com/?d=APDZ4XND

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Sent mine :) I'm so glad I figured out the technical difficulties...making the actual mix was the easy part. Can't wait to see what I get in return! And everyone else's! So excited!

Alternative Songs
Not sure if it counts as alternative or not (though it's especially catchy), but you should listen to Foo Fighters; especially their new-ish single "Wheels," which is only on their Greatest Hits CD or iTunes. Amazingly fantastic song though! Check it! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONkiLR5Ehys]YouTube- Foo Fighters - Wheels[/ame]

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Whenever I see a Martin acoustic guitar at Guitar Center or Sam Ash, I (necessarily) think about Chris, and then can't help but pick it up and play a Coldplay song on it if it's nice sounding/looking. Also, I have encountered several individuals with last names like Berryman, Buckland, Champion and Martin...All those wierdos named "Guy" also do it for me.

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Oh wow thanks that program worked well, or at least I figured out what to do...I had to replace nearly every information field with a filler like "unknown," which prevented the actual info from coming through. Media Monkey did work, so thanks again! :D

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
This is really thoroughly frustrating...I can't seem to get rid of the info off some of my files. In the tag editor program, it shows me that there's nothing there, but when I play them in Windows Media Player, in the bottom left-hand corner---as it scrolls through song info intermittently---I still see the artist, composer, etc. appearing. I figured out the album art thing by replacing them with a generic picture, but some of the info still won't go away. Would it be fine to submit it in this state, or must I keep crusading for a workaround?

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Yeah I know haha...Swallowed in the Sea is my favorite Coldplay tune, so I figured it was relatively harmless  Also, in Windows Media Player, there is no "Advanced Tag Editor" to be found when I right-click. I tried changing the artwork to something else like someone suggested, and that seemed to work, but then since I was doing so in iTunes I had to re-make the files and bring them into Mp3tag v2.45. But removing all tags again would make the artwork go away...argh why can't we just send tapes with the song info intact?!? :cry2:

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
This is getting unbearable...I've used this http://www.mp3tag.de/en/ to get rid of the tags and info, and still when I play some of the songs on Windows Media Player, the album artwork shows up. The real titles and everything are gone now, but the artwork is somehow still there. Maybe I need to try and find the artwork files somewhere on my hard drive and delete them there? Which wouldn't make much sense to me but wah-hey.....any thoughts?

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
Okay, how crucial is it that all of the info is deleted? I mean, in the end people will find out all the song info anyway, and it's the actual arrangement that counts---not the surprise. I have a couple of songs with which the info simply won't go away, no matter how many times I try to delete it. There must be some uber-strong tags on these files that can't be manually deleted this way...what should I do?

The 5th Mixtape Exchange (Tapes In First Post)
I hope it doesn't matter that 2 of my files are mp4 format as opposed to mp3... Also, is there any way to make sure all the file info is gone after going into the Properties of each file and deleting everything but track name----which I changed to "Track X."...?
