YEP my friend, I completely agree. Really nice concert, but guys, really, 1hour... I think it was the shortest of all their concert I've seen.. shorter than Exeter 2009 which was already a sort of "family concert" and was not performed to earn money so.. 3 songs more (and 1 Parachutes song) and it would have been better considering the money people paid.. but well, complaining is useless :) thanks for the nice moments! BTW, awesome Oceans, Midnight, the queens Clocks and Gpasuyf (where I always jump like an idiot) and Green Eyes (maybe the best green eyes version I saw live). Well I have to say I missed them, it was 2 years since my last coldplay concert. Nice public and awesome venue. See you at the next gig!

Ghost Story
This song is REALLY good, and I did not say this since a long time (apart for Oceans and O). They are still able to make nice things. I have some hope back :) Just forget the last years :D

:) I'm saying that it is ok to define it purple if you want, but that the purple or dark green one do not differ too much one from the other IMO, and they are simply, IMO again, an issue of the printing machines when they where produced / what you see in the pictures. On the other hand, the light green one is visibly different. In any case, we are not talking about super rare items, so I think you will be able to have them all easily.

Thanks for the advice!! Anyways, the rare version has always been the LIGHT green one, or at least it was in the past years. The one that you see as "green" is probably so because of the picture I suppose, I have 2 copies of the green/purple/whatever you talk about and they are pretty similar, not perfectly purple, neither perfectly dark green. On the other side, the light green one I found it only once. It's just this that I was trying to explain. On the other hand I stop collecting in the MX period because I was quite annoyed by that album, maybe now the world is surrounded by light green versions!!!! Well, I go to see the optician, have a nice eve! :)

Maybe I cannot distinguish colours, but i see only purple ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sacat=0&_from=R40&_nkw=coldplay+shiver&LH_PrefLoc=2 and from what I know, since I started collecting coldplay 10 years ago, the most difficult version to find of shiver was always the light green one. But well, I can be wrong :)

I fighted with the site for 1hour this morning, but I finally succeeded in taking my standing ticket. That site is a mess, and prices are crazy, I really do not know who has taken the VIP ones, but I refused to spend so much. Anyways, the front row given away to whom pays more, this is quite unfair, it was the only and last thing a fan was able to gain thanks to his effort, not only thanks to his money.. Well, here again, see you there with everyone who was able to get them..:) Andrea

Always In My Head
Well, I like it. The only problem is that it doesn't explode. I expected a powerful outro, similar to what they did live for everything is not lost. It's a nice track, they should have used it better imo.. But well, after mx finally they did something I restart to like :) I hope the LP is going to be nice, I have some fears but let's see.. :)

If you really find it for that price, well not only you were 10^24 times luckier than the luckiest person in the world, but you also deserve the hate of everybody ahahhaha... Keep on collecting, it's really nice!

oh, how much time I don't see this topic...nice job LARD I see you increased your collection a lot! WIpromo is one of my favourite piecese, how much did you give for that, if I can ask? Abour the VIVA Promo, as I wrote some pages and some years ago :) it is 350 copies limited and surprisingly there was still one on ebay in the last month which NOBODY was buying and it was around 70 euros, and this made me laugh cause in these years I saw people paying 80 euros for a promo of lovers in japan or charlie brown when it was just out for example.. I miss collecting, it's 1 year I think I stopped...It may be because I don't like the direction coldplay took with the last albums...

Rate Atlas - and post your review
They had the opportunity to come with a jewel... The first minute is really nice.. But when Chris just starts to sing "carry your wooooooooorld" the song goes from 8.5 to 4 as vote imo, and I shot my **** .. so finally I gave 6... such a pity.. it could have been really a nice song.. I've been keeping on listening to the first minute.. But ok, we knew in which direction they went in the last few years.. At least I know that they still have inside that thing that made part of us fall in love with them 15 years ago... (e.g. glass of water, moving to mars, the first minute of atlas....)

Look, there's way and way of saying things. And being rude is never helping (i'm not obviously thinking about you). I maybe I'm too hopeful, but I still think that someone there is following this forum. I'm not asking (and I'm not the only one) for a complete change in a setlist. I'm simply trying to understand why a powerful and talented band like they are, is not able to propone a little variation, a little turnover (like radiohead and so on) and to sustain a little longer gig. I mean, it's their work, they are able to do a lot of things, and after all the concerts I've been to, I can say that they do a really good job live, they make you feel good and taken by the gig almost always. I know this is a MX tour, I know they have a lot of concerts to do, I know all this stuff. But come on, don't tell me that it's not possible to build a more valid setlist, a longer one and to make a little turnover between 5 songs at least for example. Keep a core of 20 songs and change 5 songs in the whole thing. Is it so strange or impossible to do? Is it so difficult to play more than "less then 2 hours"? I don't think so. Apart from this, yes, it's true, maybe it's useless to discuss about this, but then, do you really think it is more constructive to idolize without any reason? I take an example to you, that i didn't wanted to take. Do you remember the re-introduction of life is for living in the setlist? Did you love it no? Well, it's thanks to these discussions and these interests that it happened. I asked it with my friend in Liverpool, in 2010, to Phil and Chris, telling them it was one of the best live song they could have created. Well they told us yes, it's a great idea. And that was. Now, I don't want to go on anymore on this, thanks to you fakfak for having being polite. :) I don't want people to think the same, I just like to discuss with a reason. That's a forum no? I'm sure I'll enjoy a lot the concert in Nice on tuesday, I will just live it with a different mood, as I said, firstly looking at the show and secondly to the rest. I'll lose my voice for sure. :)

I don't think you deserve an answer. But ok, remember, a fan is not necessarily someone who idolatries everything the band does. I love coldplay, and I can also tell you that they know this. Criticism is good. To idolize is quite always useless. Try to be a little more "mature". Yours was a classical "shouting monkey" answer. This is supposed to be a free and constructive forum, not a collection of "WOWWWWWWWWW, OH MY GOD, I LOVE U SOOOOO MUCH GUYS!!!" ;)
