Yeah, he's the only one with any real meat on his legs. And of course, he's the one that has to actually USE his legs. (Certainly, hopping around like an energizer bunny across the stage doesn't count... ahem.)

I saw this in the Mexico City concert thread, and thought of course it had to make an appearance here.

My hubby has one and he says he has to recharge it after less than 10 hours of music play, and he just got it a few months ago (so I'm assuming it's a newer model). I'm guessing there are some settings he can rearrange, like the "active" album artwork in the background, but I don't know how much that would add to the battery life.

Well everybody, thanks for the input. I didn't think it would be quite this close in terms of the recommendation, I thought it would be more one-sided. After much consideration, last week I used the gift cards on the middle-of-the-road iPod Touch. Quite frankly, I had been seriously considering the Zune for awhile, until I noticed the horrid battery life in comparison to iPods. I knew I didn't really need the huge storage space of the iPod Classic, plus the Touch offered more features. I narrowed down the decision to what I would think a year from now: would I say, "I really wish I would have gotten the Classic", or "I really wish I would have gotten the Touch"? I knew it would be the latter, so indeed I decided to go with the Touch. So far, I love it. Thanks again everyone for your votes and comments.

I agree, that's a pretty good idea. Or, maybe even an I.O.U. for something like that. I'm trying to remember what we got each other for our 6-month mark. But I just can't remember back that far. And maybe a nice handmade card, instead of a store-bought one. Those are the ones that people keep for a long time. :nice:

How interesting... Over time I've noticed that we both have disproportionately SMALL stubby little hands. And a similar small, smushed nose. I'm beginning to think we're siblings, just separated by 5 months in the womb and a big ol' pond. :lol:

Yes, I will be crossing my fingers for him! In the U.S. it is technically illegal to sell tickets outside the venue for a higher price, although it's okay to sell them for the actual price or lower. I'm not sure what the rules are in Guadalajara. Hopefully he finds an honest person to buy tickets from! He really really wants to go to the concert.

Did anyone notice if there were ticket scalpers outside the venues of any of the recent shows? I know someone who is going to Guadalajara in hopes of running into a ticket scalper before the show. If he doesn't find one, then that means it would be a waste in terms of the airplane ticket. :\ I'm just curious what his chances are...
