there are plenty of things about everything and every country that annoys me, it's just people started talking about america.

good point. i started writing it pro english, but changed it to anti american, but forgot to change half the sentence. in the US there is no minimum wage so loads of people have to live on tips which aren't guaranteed.

i'd be visiting london in the next year but definitely not in the next six months

i think if you have the gun in a place that isn't secure and unloaded etc in the first place and that is the only way to deal with them like you have been shot and are there yourself by the gun then it's ok. but if you just have it lying around loaded and you just grab it and shoot a guy who walks in you are aware of the fact that having a loaded gun at hand is dangerous which leaves you liable to an extent. it's a grey area but there are ways around it.

are people really patriotic? why?

yes. though i remember the famous case with the farmer who shot a guy who had tried to break in and was running away across the field and he shot him and went to prison. i was for him going to prison, it was unreasonable force. had he fired into the air it would have deterred the criminal and he wouldn't have come back.

it works well though. i know in sweden the social services available are of a very high standard thanks to those taxes, and that is what's important

without guns, people breaking into other people's houses with guns would be ridiculously rare so the need to defend yourself with such an extreme method would not be needed. if a gun is fired in this country it makes national news. i've never seen a gun in my life except for once at an airport held by a police officer.

but it helps those who cannot pay and this way it is taken from you more gradually so it doesn't cripple you financially like a doctors bill thrust upon you randomly

nah, not a drug problem. they have ridiculous penalties for drug possession in some places. which sucks. i know where i stand on gun laws and i'm happy i live in the uk on that front. i admit i could feel differently if i had been brought up in a country where it had been allowed though. also, the systematic mass mutilation of male children bothers me
