that's more to do with the fact that it saves the company money since they end up having to pay less themselves if they sell it for cheaper. i think they have to pay so much of every pound/dollar, so it's a way of getting a free 99p. if they charged an extra pence they would get taxed an extra 12 themselves. i think that is correct,

yoshimi battles the pink robots has some amazing album tracks. at war with the mystics is decent. the soft bulletin is a well regarded album but past the first three tracks i don't see it myself. and clouds taste metallic is raw and has some very good songs. before those albums i don't have too much interest.
