No response here either. I have been trying to learn which guitar is actually included in lot Number 43 as there is a mistake with the listing. Item picture shows the one with the painted headstock, but the one Jonny's holding in the picture has the unpainted headstock.

It's because the way item's are listed (poorly) - not enough details, not enough referance pictures, not enough background information. I was planning to bid on the first guitar until the last few seconds, and my max was higher than the closing price but I didn't bid because of the lack of information - IMO if they had put a single picture of Chris playing his "first guitar" as a little boy, they would have doubled the price easily. I searched all over the internet for a single picture of him playing that guitar, but couldn't find any so I went for his Takamine instead, which you can see him play in every single concert during the early days of the band and the parachutes era.

Does anyone have any pictures of Chris playing his painted Vox Teardrop guitar during the X&Y tour? From what I know he played an unpainted Vox Teardrop during some of his perfomances, but I never spotted the painted one during the X&Y tour? LOT: 33

I literally went through 4000 tour pictures and still couldn't find a single picture of Chris and Jonny wearing their respective jackets. Can anybody help?

Since they had two of each guitar on the show, they had one with unpainted headstock and another one with painted headstock. Check out these two. Unpainted Painted Unpainted Painted The problem with the auction is they posted pictures of both versions of the NO ME LLORES guitar with the "face" pattern on the same item page. Maybe they intended to sell both versions in the beginning and one of them were pulled from the catalog (since both versions of the guitar were photographed), and that might explain the missing LOT 42 :)
