I have no idea what the hell is going on here but today I received tons of PM`s and emails from people who wants to claim my Strawberry Outfit and other auction winnings like Wills drums etc. here in the game :) So why dont we keep the EOTDS and Coldplay spirit up?..anyone who can donate 5£ to KidsCompany UK can claim my stuff here on the game. So, today I want to share something fun from my collection, that was NOT part of the "End of a Decade Sale". These are the two t-shirts screen worn by Chris and Jonny in the movie "Shaun of the Dead", when they made cameo appearances as supporters of the fictional charity ZombAid after former Coldplay members Will and Guy got bitten by zombies. :D These two shirts were worn on top of their long sleeve shirts in the film. Assets (costumes and props) used in the production of this film were sold back in 2005, and these two screen worn t-shirts were listed as part of the sale.

Possibly Jason. They did perform couple songs at the "Top of the Pops Christmas Special 2008". Your guitar was there.

Sorry it took so long as I have been away from home since 26th. We're just back :) It was surreal to see the last ever VIVA show on 11th as we were lucky to see them at first ever Viva show at Brixton Academy in London/UK way back in June, 2008 (which was pure luck as we discovered there was a concert while we were in London - D'OH) So we somehow managed to witness the opening and closing of an era :P It's amazing to see how things improved and changed inbetween these two dates ! Jason, it was amazing to see you guitar in action! I was very proud :) My gf has a couple not-so-hi-res photos and videos of it on her phone, but I'm sure you have tons of amazing shots of it thanks to internet! With each concert we've been to - I kinda kicked myself on missing out on VIVA items.. I really really want some VIVA stuff for my collection. :( I have yet to take proper pics of rest of the items, but here is a small teaser of Chris's first piano - Fender Rhodes! I'm getting a glass display case made for this so wait for proper photos of it on display. I haven't cleaned anything on it and never will. It still has all the spiderwebs inside and dirt outside lol. It also has some handwritten stuff on it, on many places on both the piano, and the flight case. Some might even be lyrics, but I have yet to verify as it's mostly black on black and green on black with some of the writings wiped making it really difficult to read. Amazing piece of music history, as this is the piano that Chris has moved to London with way back when he started school. As Chris claims, when the band were first getting to know each other, it was only because he owned this that Guy wanted to speak to him at all. :laugh3: This piano witnessed the whole band history. Early school days, Starfish days, "the" Coldplay and finally Coldplay :) Some of the earliest Coldplay songs were written on it, and Parachutes album was also recorded with this piano. Now this is my favorite part of the piano. This is what you see when you remove the top lid. Chris clearly marked his territory inside the piano. :D

Wow. We JUST made it back to our hotel.. Time sure flies. We were present at the FIRST ever VIVA concert back at June 16, 2008 in London / Brixton Academy..and now the LAST one at Estadio Universitario, Monterrey, Mexico..also went to couple other shows inbetween these two at various times in 2008, 2009, 2010..but these 2 dates were extra special. It's amazing to see how they improved themselves.. during this time frame. After I arrived back to hotel..I'm asked myself - if this all could have been any better? The answer is no, it was just PERFECT. The show couldn't have been better as we say our goodbyes to the VIVA tour. It was pure MAGIC.

I personally prefer not to have an autograph on any of my items, I wish it was signed in the lining of the jacket or somewhere inside where it's not clearly visible...not destroying the original way the jacket was worn on concerts or on screen. Still beggars can't be choosers right? :D

Great pictures guys! Keep them coming :) One suggestion..please keep the items "as is". Don't try to "play" them or so. Keep them in the final condition as left by the band once they last touched them. These are artifacts.

Here are some pictures of Will's Drum from TALK. :) It's been weathered and distressed like a steam-punk gadget. It looks and feels like an old sci-fi movie prop. Looks well played and beaten up by drum sticks. I love it.

OK, I just couldn't wait until Monday to unpack so I unpacked my Takamine..and wow..what a piece of history! I wanted to own this guitar ever since I first saw their pivotal Glastonbury 2000 performance. I always loved the part when Chris says to audience "It's great that you came here to see us now, before we go like Bon Jovi massive!" while holding his Takamine to start playing "Don't Panic". That truly was magical moment. I can confirm that it was used on both the "Parachutes" and "A Rush of Blood to the Head" as there is a sticker on the guitar that mentions "I Bloom Blaum" a track from the "In My Place" single. I have been collecting music memorabilia for years and handled so many artist / band used guitars but never seen one this much used. It has history written all over it. There are handwritten notes on both guitar and the case, some parts are fixed and hold together by cable tapes. There are dings, scrathes all over the body.. it's certainly much played in many gigs. The case has a sprayed Colplay logo on it along with a Levi's Jeans sticker. When I took out the guitar, I found a very neat suprise inside the guitar case - inside the hidden compartment :) There was some loose change, 2 batteries, couple of broken guitar strings (must have been kept from early performances as a keepsake), couple packs of new guitar strings and the best part was 3 x different Chris Martin guitar picks and flyers for very early Starfish / "The" Coldplay gigs (one of them was folded like a paper aeroplane yay!) :D

Finally got my items today! Carried it all on underground from Kids Company to the hotel (Southwark to Kings Cross) - yay! Station lifts were a great help, and thanks to Chris's handwritten COLDPLAY sign on the piano case - I get to meet couple Coldplayers on my way - They helped me a lot on the way back to my hotel - especially while changing stations (turns into a disaster due to the gap between train and the station!) Not sure if I want to unpack everything today to check out- as my flight back is on Monday - and I don't want to repack everything all over again.

Finally was able to visit Kids Company today! Met the lovely Gemma, and she helped me a lot! I have one small problem, the piano turned out to be a little bigger than what I imagined it to be, so I will have to go back tommorow again as I was not prepared. I'll have to hire a mini-truck it seems. I'll also have two friends with me to help out. Flight case is HUGE. I wasn't able to take a look at anything else (sorry Carrie, I couldn't pose for a picture with your globe!) as they keep all the Coldplay stuff in a secure password-coded area where nobody other than the staff is allowed. Other than that everything was already nicely wrapped with tons of bubble-wrap so you can all make sure everything will arrive safely. Once I'm able to sort out this transport problem, I'll send pictures. :)

I'm going to meet Gemma @ KidsCompany either tommorow or Wednesday morning (depending on the weather) to pick my items.

We would seriously need a vocal. :laugh3:
