Yes, that is my problem with religious beliefs, some people want to give religious theories the same importance as scientific theories. I don't care if someone believes that God created the world in 6 days and all that other stuff, you can believe whatever you want, my problem comes in when people say that their beliefs are just as valid as a scientific theory, science reqiures evidence, if some day in the future we find evidence that God created the world, then I will happliy believe it, but so far there is no evidence. I think this discussion should be in the evolution thread :\

I am dressing up as a witch for halloween, and I need some ideas for my witchy make-up, I am going shopping tommorow to buy the make up. If you have any cool/crazy ideas please let me know :)

thanks I will look more into the evolution thing. I think the point we are trying to make in regards to religion and science, is that both of them are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Some people think we should give religion the same respect we give science, because they are somehow equal, but they are not equal. Religion is based on faith alone, whereas science is based on facts. Just because a scientist is religious, it doesn't mean that religion is equal to science. Science contradicts religion, it doesn't compliment it.
