The kids of our after school film program, Paikea Productions, created a video for the StandUp for Kids organization. Their goal is to find and help homeless and at-risk children from around the nation, and we wanted to help raise awareness and to remind people everywhere who is struggling to never lose hope. These are the type of people that if you meet them, you would never think that something was wrong. Do you have a story of hardship, and you managed to persevere through it? Thanks! You make an awesome point that you don't have to be a teacher to teach a kid something. It's great that you did have that experience of teaching a class, and just having only one kid act a bit naughty is pretty good!

In the United States, education is taking a turn for the worst. Thousands of teachers are being laid off, and classrooms are suffering greatly from budget cuts.
