Noel accused Liam in the press conference of missing the 09 V festival 'cause he had a hangover, which could get both Liam and Oasis into legal troubles with the promoters, and also shakes his 'fans-always-come-first-even-though-I'm-a-jackass-to-everone-else' image. While Liam claims he had laryngitis. Either way, it was very moronic from Noel to accuse his brother of such thing just to come out as the 'good guy'. I get where Liam is coming from, but I still think the whole spat thing is just childish. Should be fun!

I'm more intrigued by the second album tbh. He's playing it safe with the first one I think, still, I like his music so I'm not complaining.

It's actually a 4-parts remix. If I'm not mistaken, parts 1&2 were Oasis b-sides, while 3&4 were on the Amorphous Androgynous' compilation album. They're also producing his second album, which makes me looking forward to it more than his debut, out of curiosity more than anything else tbh. The Horrors album has leaked, great stuff. On repeat for over 3 hours! The Singles, Neat Little Rows and Lippy Kids are great. I agree with you on the album though, which is a shame 'cause I really wanted to like it.

I'm not American and I live in a whole different continent, but, to me KEXP is the best radio station in the world no contest! If you're into Indie and (somewhat) underground music you'll love it. I listen to their online stream on a semi-daily bases. My post looks like a plug! LOL. Hopefully someone here is from Seattle to back me up.

I don't mind it being "too poppy", that's not my issue with it. I listen to everything from synth pop to speed metal and everything in-between, so to me personally, any direction they choose to go with is alright, as long is comes and feels natural, and this doesn't. Sorry. ETIAW feels as if they're trying too hard to keep with the times and follow what's cool atm in the music scene. Does that make them sellouts? Depends on your definition of the word really, to me it does. Someone pointed out earlier that the fans who followed Coldplay from early on have grown up and their tastes in music has changed and matured, and the band should move on as well instead of trying to reach a younger audience who won't follow a punch of mid 30s Gaga wannabes when they have the real thing. Now, I'm not the biggest Radiohead fan in the world but I do have lots of respect to them, and I kinda wish every band followed their footsteps by doing what THEY want instead of chasing the "scene". This song feels forced, unnatural and tired. I sincerely hope it's their 'Brick By Brick'. Having said that, even BBB has it's merits, this doesn't, not at all. I realize my English is shit, sorry about that, but I think (hope) I've made my point clear. My view might be completely off but that's how I feel anyway. Sorry if I offended anyone.
