I don't know who this other person is, but prayer means different things to different people.. To the bible believing christian it means relationship building with God (Jesus Christ) in this communication God instructs us to be thankful for what we already have and while we are thankful for what He has given us we also ask to be delivered from sin and evil (which means delivering us out of the hands of the enemy). also to love our haters, which Christ helps us to do, it is much easier to love a friend than to love an enemy.. That is one part of prayer, regarding your situation you would thank God in advance for the blessings that will take place, whether your looking for a job, need a home loan or need healing (physical, mental, emotional). We also pray for others whether christian or not.. So prayer is important, its very important..A christian can not survive without prayer I mean survive the walk of a christian, because our walk is actually very difficult yet is quite easy if you get my understanding. The only contradiction is the walk of a christian, because we can also sin, none are perfect although we live as though we will be perfect through Christ.

I'm with you on this, religious people can be very confusing...Here is the problem...The religious people you are talking about go to church on a sunday yet they lack the understanding and knowledge of the Bible. How does this make a difference? well church does little for a "christian" if they don't have a relationship with Jesus Christ. The bible answers the questions about bad things happening to good and bad people..It rains on the good as much as it does on the bad, when bad things happening depending on what you are talking about, like for example you lose your house: well you didn't pay your bills, an earthquake, well disasters affected by people and their use of chemicals and taking from the earth the very things that keep it stable, coal, gold. anything to do with mining etc..these things cause eruption because you are taking from what pert of the earth creating a shift in the balance the waters are affected therefore affecting the wind and atmosphere... Just as the affect of less trees has on the city life (cancers etc...) more pollution created by people...We have alot to blame for as a people of any nation regardless of what part of the world your in. When good things happen it is pleasure to praise and thank God for the good and the bad, you see the Bible says that we must praise Him through trials (financial,physical or emotional) and good times. Regardless of the situation He deserves our Praise because He is our maker, He created us. Thanks is what He deserves...

Very true, some of the people that go to church are some of the most controlling and even rude at times. This is confusing even to me, I thought at one time that going to church should change a person but its not the church that changes people, it is Jesus Christ... There are alot of people that want freedom yet because of their idea that church changes rather than Christ changes they go for years on end in the same cycle, struggling with their own will power to be free from what ever is stopping them from being like Christ. My encouragement is to understand who Jesus Christ is, and read about who He himself claimed to be and how He actually is here to help us.

I myself have a mac book pro for production so when I come to visit family on the weekend i sometimes bring it.but decided to leave work/play at home this time and tried the vista 4 a while.what the? I mean WHAT WAS BILL GATES THINKING.It is slow everything has way too much graphics.A 2.5ghz on mac would be great so. So I thought out what he there was a theme 4 vista that changed it to mac.WOW WOW and there is. So being the tech wizz I claim to be I decided to devote my attention to the procedure of changing it.actually quite simple but very time consuming.However the finished product is amazing.Its faster and it looks so much neater and cooler.I was shocked at how much of a difference it made.Oh and my brother couldn't believe it.

I totally forgot or decided to give it a try, I needed more space on my mobile 'being the cheapy' trying to save yuh know. some of the music came out okay because it was a higher bit rate, 112kbps is just not good enough.So dont try and be cheap or stupid. i have a 8gb phone 'I know its small'.What gb do u have? I guess the best way is to put music on there u listen to frequently.But I want to listen to all Prince records which is a major catalogue.I've not been into his stuff but its time to learn as they say from the genuise. Thankfully i had a back up of all my music,it just takes a while to transfer.

I believe his right to defend the act, however if lesbians/gays want to live together there is nothing going against it..I've seen this argument debated on one of the tv shows (can't remember), very interesting. For me coming from a christian perspective I don't think its lawfully that it is okay, during abraham's time this idea of marriage between man and woman was created (whether you decide to believe it or not) {many roman and egyptian scripts have this written or enscribed on their walls of this period}.. From a modern point of view, I think that it will happen. As much as I may not be for it, it will happen and has in some states I believe. This will change the view of parenting in many nations however I do not know how much of an impact it will have. It wouldn't change the way I think of marriage, as a holy and joyful commitment between a man and woman, showing kids strength,longevity, love and peace when the roles are played as God intended. If you as LGBT/GAY want to get married you have to ask yourself why?if still then, then go to california..I think its legal there??

I like what you said there about the car, lloking at a horse and carriage and a modern car and saying it was not influenced or didn't change over time...Very good observation...There is a flaw however in this argument, because you are arguing the creation which is a car that man has built and created out of technical deliberation. However evolution between creatures is something of a marvel of God himself, yes we may help in the process of a breed of dog by mating the two and therefore having a certain type or breed of dog but this is not our creative or intelligent thinking that made the dog. You have to appreciate the existence of a creative God in order to see that evolution between species or changes (that sometimes harm) is natural however the evolution from a sheep into a frog or an ape into a man is a totally different argument. Species can evolve to adapt to their surroundings, this is something that God has created within us. God has given us an intellectual mind in order to discover these things. In order for an idea like that of the motor vehicle to arrive there needs to be an idea or creative thought to develop that into a physical form. The idea must come out of thinking, buildings don't just turn up. There is a process, money backs the idea and powerful men implement and arrange the financial sides of developing the construction. The key here is there has to be a reason for the building going up, either to make more money (supermarket or other businesses etc.) Just as there must be a reason for us being on this amazing designed planet, that if you were to investigate, if the earth were a couple metres closer or away from the sun we would not be able to survive. The change in the atmosphere would mean less oxygen could be produced and the many other affects it has like gravity.There has been planning and precise technical thinking involved in the preservation of the human race. All from a creative God

Well as a christian I care about others so when it happened to me I tried to understand it by studying it by going to the library and checking online. So my friend I think you should grow up a little and stop fighting with people because your angry with life..I hope you find Gods love.. Peace You are okay in my books::o

From a logical (reason,sense or judgment) point of view, there is little common (meaning world view) sense to Faith (confidence, trust, reliance, assurance, conviction, belief, devotion, loyalty). Coming from a common world view sense I can see how it would be hard to believe much of what has happened through the accounts of the prophets and men of God. However because of my relationship with Christ I believe these things did happen. You could bring into account that friends and family of mine were healed from disabilities, heart conditions, cancers. An aunty of mine was in the hospital only given a couple months to live she had cancer, was not christian but I asked her if we could pray (going there with the intention of praying for and with her) with a couple believers in the room we prayed and the doctor now has no explanation for her recovery. She is completely healed. I cannot explain how God heals I can only express a relationship that has been confirmed by lives being changed, people being healed. I can't explain God's love but I can tell you He is waiting for you to seek Him. I do believe that the sea's were parted, water was turned into wine, I mean if from a common sense point of view God had come down to earth I'd expect Him to do some miraculous stuff, wouldn't you? Stuff that would blow my mind. Otherwise I'd find it hard to believe this guy was who he says he is. Maybe with some persuasion, Maybe..:) In regards to the witness, it was many witnesses not just a few sometimes in the hundreds. How I know that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father(God) is by experience as I said, I have conversed and sat in His presence. You might say well why are there other religions, I am aware of many muslims coming to trust in Christ alone. An old friend who is now a minister of the Bible was born Muslim accepted Christ at the age of I think 16. This is a regular occurrence and it also happens that people that are Catholic also change to muslim (I can't say you're christian if you don't walk walk with Christ). Because with Christ there is no doubt, because he is present. Well I know Allah is not God based on the inconsistency of the text, He eplains that if you see a jew he must be killed, He (Allah) Had fits but thought he was in the presence of God, he (Allah) was a man of sin not perfect, he failed on many occasions making me wonder how can a man of hate be of God. Buddha never said he was God neither did he say he was the way people exalted him to that status. Hindu Gods, I mean the many gods they have are very confusing, God is not confusing He is clear and precise He does not fool around nor does He make you reverence rats. I'll leave it to you. People make religions, God doesn't make them. God judges the heart as I explained earlier, actions moral standing etc. Even then there were people who did not know of the God of the Jews yet they new of God and lived their lives as best they could in reverance to the "God Unknown". This is why I encourage you to study for yourself not only Biblical text (check out the Koran, Torah..) scientific text. Its easy to say I learned it at school, everyone has but who is really listening, we only choose to listen to things that make up the sum of the half hour to hour class. I hardly listened in school at all, I have done my own studies gone to public libraries etc.etc. treat it as a quest to learn the truth. There are too many questions for me to answer, I have all the answers for you yet it is not my place to answer them for you because you are rather quite pressed on making your point. If I answer all your questions you will just have another argument that will be logically based on evolution, but because you have not done the necessary studies to know about evolution and the allegations/insinuations it makes I can not answer your questions. It would be like talking as a grade 12 student to a grade 9 about advanced Biology.
