  6. Ok, so, after giving it some listens, here's my review. Some song titles/informations were still present. 1. Starts with a very simple but nice guitar riff then a voice (can't tell if male or female) comes in. It keeps adding different instruments until it reaches an "explosive" climax. I think it lasts a bit longer than it should have but it's not a problem for me. Indeed a good mixtape opener. 2. According to Itunes, this is In A Quiet Corner by Appartjik. I've already listened to some of their songs before but I didn't really like them. This, however, is really good and indeed makes me feel like "in a quiet corner" 3. Woah, I recognized this from the very first chord! This is The Killers covering one of my favourite Dire Straits song, Romeo and Juliet (The Killers also played a short snippet of this when they came in Verona two months ago). I don't like it as much as the original but it's still an awesome cover :) 4. A folkish song based on acustic guitar. For some reason it reminds me of the folk/prog rock band Kansas but I don't think it's them. It has a really nice melody but gets a bit repetitive. 5. There was still the album cover on this one. It's the cover of the White Lies' debut album and, judging from the lyrics, this song is... the title track :P. Anyway, I never listened to them. I think this song is quite catchy and has a very good and powerful bass line and the vocals are really deep but doesn't do a lot to me. :\ 6. Ooh, acustic guitar again! "Little ghost, little ghost!", a woman and a man sing. Sounds like a fast, happy country-ish song. The vocals are kind of annoying to me. Least favourite of the tape, sorry :( 7. Hey, I recognise this too! This is Dry Your Eyes by The Streets featuring our Chris. Really dig this one. 8. A fast pop-punk song with a female singer. I'm pretty sure I've already heard this, in an advert maybe? Not a big fan though. 9. Starts with a weird backwards sound, but then it becomes a "normal" alt rock song. It's one of those songs which makes you feel happy and a bit ummm, nostalgic, I should say, at the same time. One of the best of the mixtape. 10. A syncopathed rythm and a violin introduce the song. It's very catchy and has a sort of '80s vibe. It's quite cheesy but not too much. 11.Wow, what an uplifting song! Sounds indeed like a "bold anthem" but it's not all over the place. The chorus melody sounds quite familiar. Could this be Elbow or am I totally getting it wrong? 12. Oh, this is one of the cutest songs ever . Itunes says it's If I Were A Fish by Mùm. The vocals are sung by two women and it's pratically a rhyme accopained by a lovely acustic guitar melody. I really like this one too :nice: 13."We're out looking for astronauts, looking for astronauts" a deep voice sings. I really like how this song progresses: it first starts with a very "dreamy" guitar and then a string arragement kicks in to create an even more... etheral, I'd say, atmosphere. Favorite track of the mixtape  14. This one sounds like.......... sirtaki music? But the language is not greek. So, could this be Turkish folk music? I usually don't like mediterranean music (Italian music included) but I quite like this one. 15. The last song is again based on guitars (both acustic and electric this time). It's quite a melancholy song but not sad/depressing at all. Really good closer. Overally, the mixtape was really good. It's not the stuff I'm into right now and I'd have prefered a bit more variety but it flowed really well and I really loved some songs. Trying to guess, is this Ceren(Jeremyy)'s mixtape? Either way, well done!
