I think the title "Car Kids" sounds tacky as hell. Almost as terrible of a title as "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall." I really don't think "Car Kids" is even a song. I think it's simply a motif in CB serving as some kind of rebellious youth theme. But no-one knows for sure. Al

Just got back. Best concert ever! Way better than the last time I saw them in 2009. Hearing the new stuff live makes our petty recordings sound horrible! There was just such an energy there that made that the best show EVER! :D

Are you guys KIDDING? I played alto sax in marching band, three! Well, until I was drum major my sr. year. That sucks, by the way. Anyway, I think we'll hear something on Monday. If not Monday then Wednesday. :D

TO stay marketable (and to sell out arenas) they can't put out another "Parachutes." And I really doubt that the pressure from EMI dictates the creative process. EMI screws over everybody by doing things like making us by ETIAW 3+ times for no damn reason.

I mean, even Coldplay's "loud" songs are pretty tame comparatively. I don't think they've really made a truly loud song. MM is probably closest they've gotten!

^When are you planning on getting in line to wait at the concert? I want to get a good spot, and I'm wondering if anyone thought this through! It just hit me that it's TODAY. Why didn't I plan ANYTHING? :angry:

I've actually always loved the first version of it a ton more than the album version.
