  1. 100% agree with you... successful bands keep their 'signature sound' that die-hards from the start both know and love.
  2. I've never said that it's "too popular and commercial", so I don't know where you've got that idea from. This song won't be popular with the mainstream industry or the majority of the Coldplay die-hards, because it's simply not very good...
  3. I disagree that this is the 'normal process'... the few bands that have tried this, like MCR, have seen large turnovers in fans after each album... leaving the original desperately disappointed. Where as Muse have had the same core fanbase, that keeps growing and growing after each album... hence why they are so successful and why the vast majority of bands stick to a sound that works.
  4. I went to Wembley Stadium to see them... But who seriously would see them to hear a set-list that consists of songs like this? No way. The stadium would be half-empty.
  5. I'm thoroughly disappointed with this hyped release... All that build-up and a less than average song. Very poor Coldplay, I think you'll lose quite a few die-hards with this next album.
