  1. POC and charlie brown by mainstream fans; hurts like heaven by concert going fans
  2. if Mylo Xyloto wants to sell more copies in the US they need to promote this song in US radios now, so far MX doesnt have a radio smash and it will definitely hurt its sales... (we live in a singles world now)
  3. that really confirms that Pitchfork really prefer electronic music/ electronica stuff (i dunno what it's called exactly) lol
  4. is it really confirmed to be the next single??
  5. of course!!! the Germans have good taste in music :)
  6. WILL PRINCESS OF CHINA GET THAT RADIO AIRPLAY THAT COLDPLAY DESERVES? i hope it will,... paradise, although selling a lot digitally, isn't getting any support from radio...
  7. hmm, from the looks of it, chris martin is quite passionate to make more music, i'm sure they have 3 or 4 albums left in their tank :p and im pretty sure, they will do more, because even though chris is overly sensitive about other people's opinions, i also think it doesn;t affect his drive to create more music. just like what we have read from some news articles, he really really cares more about the people who loves coldplay, (i hope im making sense, lol ... still reeling from a deadly exam last friday.. lol) :D
  8. i don't think this "incident" will be the death of the band, John Lennon was sued before, for "plagiarising another song to and make it into the song "come together" George Harrison had five cases of plagiarism during the 70's, "my sweet lord", "start!", "when we was fab", "long long long" and "ship fools", and "free as a bird. Both of them had nice careers even after those suits :D:D:D:) assuming, of course, that they really plagiarised :) its my opinion that they didn't :) edit: free as a bird was int he 90s, sorry :)
  9. don't worry i'm sure they will, they're this generation's U2 :)
  10. wow, those DJ's are really harsh, hmm, haters are always gonna be haters, the best "fuck you hater" moment for coldplay is for them survive in the music biz many years to come :)
  11. yeah i agree, in fact i have even heard of that kind of tune even before that vietnamese song was made, i think its a tune from old asian chants or traditional songs, i'll try to research more of this though (after midterm exams of course, lol)
  12. i agree:) oh and your from the phillipppines?, i've been there, nice country and nice people, i was there last year (at the end of our school semester)
  13. do you think it can enter the BB Hot 100 despite POC being released on Oct 25?
  14. wow.. Paradise is climbing very fast in the US itunes charts, i think it has the chance to enter the Billboard Hot 100 TOP 10 in the coming weeks, :D:)
  15. hmm, i'm stupid when it comes to itunes charts.... do pre order sales get counted during the first week the album is released??? because if it does, i think the debut week of mylo xyloto will be huge (in the US at least )
  16. Billboard Hot 100 Update: Paradise went up to #38 from #68.. nice update :D
  17. maybe they did not anticipate how well it was received by most critics and the people in general, lol
  18. what i love about this song is that its so pop but its kind of alternative sounding at the same time. it has this unusual song structure, and those synths sounds so, oriental, lol, we don't hear those sounds often in top 40 radio lol
  19. i think it's the synths, its so asian sounding,
