I don't think they're comparable to be honest, too different in my opinion I like this new direction too as long as it doesn't go too far And I think it very easily could :\

In my opinion this change in direction, including rihanna and stuff, may or may not be a bad thing. I am reserving my judgement until I have heard the album. Either way, if the album is as bad as many think it will be, what, it won't sell. The. Chris and the band will see their problem. If it is not as bad as we think, we get a good album. It's not the end of the world, or the end of coldplay by any means

Looking forward to the moment in 3 hours when this whole stupid "Mylo Xyloto" stuff will be proved wrong and we will have an album name and artwork that sounds and looks decent... Counting down...

I know it's not likely but I hope for one looking similar to the ROBTTH album artwork. Simple with all focus on a single image or object in the centre, and the name of the album and band discreetly in a corner or something cause I loved the ROBTTH artwork. I didn't like the ETIAW art or any of the subsequent ones that much
