I should..what would Chris motherufcking Martin do?... Hmm..I'll bet he'd say Fuck it, take the risk, that's what life's about! I'll do it now! But first..I need to see how many extra strings I have just in case. :P

Okay back, what's up. I wanna try this song on my acoustic guitar..but I know I'll break a string if I tune them down/up. Should I try it? If it works, whether I have to replace strings or not, I will record it on my nice guitar I guess haha.

Indeed you can haha. I have extra strings, I just don't wanna break them then waste time replacing them haha. I guess I should though, once you record it, its there forever.

Hey James, I was wondering..I'm always writing music, but I feel like if I write too much, and with ideas spread thin, my guitar parts are different, somewhat, but the strumming patterns and song layouts are nearly identical. I want to stop writing for the time being, which will be hard lol. But I want to focus on these 9 songs of mine, and make each one sound different. Kinda like what Coldplay has done. I'm listening to a lot of ROBTTH stuff right now and I just want to make it unique. With some of the songs, I want to transpose a guitar part over to piano, but cannot play piano well. I'm still learning so in time hopefully. And also, when I recrd some of the songs in different tuning's, I do it with my cheapo 50 $ beater guitar. Which is alright, but its just not the same sound. I think most of my songs are in standard because I don't want to worry about breaking strings and replacing them all the time. Which is silly. I know a few months ago, I was totally experimenting and finding new weird tuning's which sounded quite nice actually. It's just..it's hard to be unique but keeping a musical identity when you play by yourself. You know? I wanna write beautiful pieces inspired by all these great bands. I'm going off on a tangent hahaha, sorry  Anyways. Maybe, when you have time, you can help me critique some of my stuff and help me transpose my guitar parts over to piano. I'd be eternally grateful. And if you wanted help with anything, just let me know. Also, I'm finding it more fun to spend time on songs you(speaking in general) already have written then trying to "Write the next big one". The song you have written could be the next big one if you put the time and effort into it. I mean, for me personally, 9 is a good number. Any bigger, and it feels like it's spread too thin. Any less, then i feel like I could go further. Oh the mind of a musician is a crazy place.

Hopefully  This is the closest I can get to finding a black jacket that Chris wears during the X&Y era. Darn Nice Collective...way to go out of style. I'd give my left nut for that jacket. http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-1495739/rock-republic-faux-leather-motorcycle-jacket-men.jsp

We should make that award  ehh.. How about we're both good? Same here haha..nothing much. Just watching youtube videos and trying to write a song in a weird way. I want to use the synthesizer on my keyboard to make a song. No guitar, just that noise for a song while i sing over it. It could go terribly wrong. But fuck it, life's about taking risks and not being afraid of them.

And I like it, I like it, I like it! Reminds me of the randomness of White Shadows. There should be a Best Coldplaying Artist award. I'd vote you simply put, your lyrics and melodies are amazing. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIBa0kweQpA]LIVE | 2005 | Coldplay: In My Place - at Live 8 - YouTube[/ame]
