Tonight, after debuting their brand new single “Frankie Sinatra,” which features MF DOOM and Danny Brown, they finally announced a new record. This album is what Ghost Stories aspires to be. Really early but my initial reaction is that this album is OK Computer/Kid A Tier.

Lone announces new album Levitate, shares 'Vapour Trail' The English producer returns with his most energetic LP to-date. Last month, Matt Cutler, bka Lone shared mysterious track ‘Backtail is Heavy’ via a call-in line, without a word as to whether it was a one-off or from something bigger. Today he has announced his sixth album, Levitate, via R&S Records and has shared track ‘Vapour Trail’ in anticipation. Unlike Lone’s previous work, this hinges more on a collage of jungle, hardcore and ambient and is one of his most sprightly works – even with nine tracks, it clocks in at 34 minutes. Machinedrum and Braille return with second Sepalcure album, Folding Time The album is described as the duo’s love letter to NYC. Machinedrum and Braille will release a second collaborative album as Sepalcure next month. Folding Time is the duo’s first LP since 2011’s self-titled debut for Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings, and follows a scattering of EPs released alongside their own solo albums for Ninja Tune and Friends of Friends. According to the label, the 11-track album combines R&B and pop influences alongside the broken beat sound of their earlier material, and includes new songs alongside reworked tracks from the duo’s archives. As well as using field recordings, guitars and piano, the album, which once again arrives on Hotflush, features original vocals from Rochelle Jordan and regular collaborator Angelica Bess. http://www.factmag.com/2016/04/21/sepalcure-folding-time-album-hotflush-machinedrum-braille/
