It kinda sounds like The Killers' album Day & Age, like their B-side "Forget About What I Said".

Dissapointment: All the intros (Mylo Xyloto, MMIX, A Hopeful Transmission), they'd be better as part of the song, not seperate tracks. And Up With The Birds. Not a huge fan of that song. Surprise: Up In Flames sounds more electric. (But I guess the whole album does).

The sparkling guitar is definitely the highlight of the song. Once I get used to the really not-Coldplay vocals I think I'll love the song.

I think that Car Kids used to be the name for Charlie Brown. They probably went through a few name ideas for that song. (Including Cartoon Heart).

9/10. Easily. I don't understand why people don't like Coldplay's new music. Yes, it's different, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. I think we're looking at one of the best albums in the last 20 years. Mylo Xyloto will easily be their best album to date, and a musical triumph, in my opinion.
