  1. I know :( Poor Chris came on, walked around the stage all ready to start and they were still announcing who was on the line up! So Coldplay were there on stage ready to start and then all the teenies are screaming when they mention Justin Bieber, The Wanted etc!
  2. I'm a mum to a Belieber and didn't even know it! I don't know how she knew all the words but she did! Lol, Warning Sign - can you imagine?! Would've cleared the stadium I reckon!! I've thought about this some more and if I hadn't seen Coldplay last Saturday at the Emirates I'd probably feel completely different about it. Nothing can compare to that, very jealous to those of you off to Manchester tonight!
  3. Was anyone at this yesterday? I went with my daughter and although I loved them, and the lady in the row in front loved them, the majority of the people around me weren't too fussed which I found really sad!* Having said that, the standing crowd looked amazing during Charlie Brown, and there was lots of singing along during Paradise. Chris was humble as ever (made some comment about letting everyone get on with the rest of their day like Coldplay were imposing on us or something!! I could've quite happily left after their set - the rest was an endurance test!), the Rihanna video went wrong during POC so Chris ended up singing some of Rihanna's lines. In a Coldplay show he would've started again but there he couldn't so just carried on. Kelly Clarkson (who I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised by) followed Coldplay and made some jokey comment about how great it was having Coldplay open for her! Cheeky moo! It was all in jest though!! I don't know....they were of course amazing as ever but I'm still not quite sure why they played it. The whole place was up for Flo Rida yet sitting during Viva - what's that all about?! Mrs Spoon x * just wanted to add to that that maybe I'm reading too much into this as I remember being at Wembley for Coldplay in 2009 and there were quite a few people around me then who didn't seem too fussed!
  4. Listening to the show now, I am looking forward to ALL the songs tomorrow!! Gutted I sold my tickets for tonight's show, would have loved to go twice!
  5. Not my first time, but REALLY looking forward to Lovers In Japan, it will however be my first time not up in the Gods so I'm really looking forward to just being able to join in with the whole thing. At Wembley the majority of people in my block were only standing for the more well known songs, when I stood for LIJ I saw the guy behing me throw his arms up in a v not happy gesture :(
  6. Friday 1st June Emirates GA x 2 Hi, I've decided I'd like to try and buy tickets for the Summertime Ball for myself and my 2 Coldplay (brainwashed poor things - one of my 6 yr olds favourite songs is Don't Panic!)/Justin Bieber/The Wanted fanatics so am selling my 2 GA tickets for Emirates on Friday 1st June (to be fair I was planning on going 2 nights, but now just going 1!). I'll be honest and say would like to recoup the fees too, and the total price paid for the 2 tickets was £114.25, so would like to sell for £114.25. Tickets in hand, welcome to collect if you're anywhere near me (near Bromley, Kent) or my husbands work place (Romford) or will put in post. Thanks Laura PS: I am a genuine fan, and these tickets are genuine - i just don't post v often!
  7. I couldn't quite believe that Coldplay were on the line up for an event like this, I don't really get it....however....my 6 and 8 year old daughters have been on at my husband and I for a while now wanting to see Coldplay (they're brainwashed, poor kids!). My 8 year old loved Take That last year, but it was more of a show with different things going on, I don't know how they'd be with Coldplay, and from a completely selfish point of view I want to go to Coldplay and enjoy it rather than worrying about them! With Justin Bieber and The Wanted on the line up for the Summertime Ball it's something we'd consider doing as they love them too, and I won't begrudge toilet breaks etc!
  8. Has anyone going to the Emirates had email confirmation through yet? Panicking slightly....
  9. OK, I got tickets this morning but messed up! I forgot it's Emirates and not Wembley so went for General Admission which I guess means no unreserved seating as it does at Wembley! Be honest - what is the standing experience like? I am happy to do it, in fact at Wembley last time I was wishing I was with all the people down there having fun from sitting in my seat in the clouds! Not sure about the hubby though. We wouldn't be desperate to get to the front or anything, not even half way, but to be able to see some of the staging would be good and am worried we'll miss out on that.
  10. Is anyone else still waiting for their tickets?! Starting to worry even though it's still weeks away!
