There a lot of songs by Coldplay I love for their lyrics, which helped me a lot during a bad period of my life. Definitely one of my favourite quote is from "What If": "Every step that you take could be your biggest mistake, it could bend or it could break but that's the risk that you take". Every time I'm going to take a decision which may hurt someone, or myself, in the future, then I think to this phrase, take a pause and reflect on the consequences of what I'm going to do. Can someone explain me what is exactly meant by " the bullets catch in her teeth"? I just can't figure out this expression. Also "The wheel breaks the butterfly" is not so clear to me Thks:)

Yes I also thought that, but then I think "like a raindrop to a river" would have suited better! That's why I can't really work it out...:thinking:

So... can someone explain me this simile? "Like a river to a raindrop, I lost a friend" :confused:
