I live close to Boston so this doesn't matter to me, but in case anyone didn't notice MetLife Stadium in NY/NJ retweeted the 2017 gif today, as well as shared it on their Facebook. Then again I just read that Red Bull Arena, a 25000 outdoor arena 20 minutes from NYC will start hosting concerts next year with, apparently, already having a few shows booked for next summer but that would be a major downgrade from MetLife.

..that entire lineup was the a combination of 2011/12/13 lineup.

Chris Martin AND Bleachers? I like this station.... But with Coldplay doing their first arena show of the year in 2 months, I doubt that this is a preview of just Chris tracks. Maybe it is an LP 7 thing...

This is what is to be called a 'warm up tour', or a tour just to get beck to the felling of going on tour again. So, yes, the real 'Ghost Stories World Tour' will be announced with tons of USA dates, but whether or not that the dates will be in arenas or performing arts centers/theaters are up to the band. from what I have been hearing, this album would fit more in an intimate venue than arenas, and I could agree. I hope the tour is of intimate venues, I mean I like arenas, but Coldplay in one of those up close venues would be amazing. :)

In addition, Boston Calling Music Festival in Boston still says their SEPTEMBER lineup will be announced in 3 weeks time. the fest takes place September 5-7.

They could very well do a short US run.... Boston Calling would be once for September, but I am thinking that they will return to the US next april.

Thinking it could be this, depending on a few factors. Always in my Head (since it is the album opener) Yellow (?) In My Place (?) Insiders have said that Lady GAGA will headline the gig in 2013. He indicated that he was looking at the possibility of two concerts in 2013, as two major acts have come up. "The likelihood is that one will be in June and one in August," he said this week. He pointed out that there was a precedent for two shows in one year, going back to 2001 when U2 played two concerts, one week apart. "Next year would be a completely different scenario as there would be two separate acts," he added. He would not comment on who the acts might be, or if they had played at Slane before, but he ruled out U2 playing at Slane next year. These included the issue of public toilets in the village on the day of the concert and the restrictions on the movement of local residents. "There is also the question of monetary donations to voluntary groups within the village," he said. There have been 20 concerts at Slane since the first in 1981, which was headlined by Thin Lizzy and featured emerging Irish act, U2. Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones, Queen, Madonna, Robbie Williams and, most recently, Kings of Leon, have been among the headline acts over the years. 2nd New Years eve Show to be held at Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland! HELLO! I was looking on web sites just because that is what i do and i came across this: with support form Snow Patrol, Elbow, and Emeli Sande. and it seems to be confirmed (NOT on Coldplay's website yet) from the sites that i looked. It is part of Edinburgh's Hogmanay new Years Celebration.
