Ya know, when Paradise was first released, well, first played in september I think, I liked it a lot. Then it got pushed to being ok, then when Mylo Xyloto was released I liked other songs over it. I remember for months nobody knew what Paradise was and people didn't like it for being too slow. But now? It's Coldplay's biggest song. I don't understand. Nothing is a particular stand out in it. It's not lyrically amazing, and I can name a bunch of Coldplay songs which are better than it. I can't get my head round it really that other songs get ignored over this. I now tend to listen to it without people knowing and very very rarely because I feel a bit mainstream, which is sad. When Charlie Brown is released as a single I won't be surprised if it does well. That song is amazing and deserves number 1. But paradise? bleh

I don't have to use it :) Probably will just keep it wrapped up and look through the rest of the stuff

May have found one to buy for a cheaper price new :) just have to wait. If I get it cheaper then I'll be happy but not paying £50 for it. Can't wait to play the vinyl on the record player... hmmmm only a few days now

Well of course there's no rush really, so okay I will wait. It just seems like a waste if I don't buy one. It's too expensive though, Coldplay must be raking it in

Hmm... When I think about it, it's just like buying a video game on release date so it's not that bad since I haven't bought games for ages... Do you know of anywhere to get it cheaper than the Coldplay site?

I'm considering purchasing the pup-up edition. It's £50 which isn't cheap I know. Can anyone tell me if it's completely worth it and you're really getting what you pay for. I do have a record player (well, mum does) so I can play the vinyl... And would not opening the pop-up edition get some money in a few years for a completely mint collection? Cheers guys :)

I thing PoC should come next, as Paradise has got people talking about Coldplay. PoC with Rihanna will sure keep that going and then Charlie Brown to end it off being the best song on the album (my opinion) will definitely get Coldplay atleast another number 1, if not 2!

Oh so you queue originally? I thought we'd straight be let in to the arena! Ah, all seems a bit easier now, so toilet breaks would be possible. That's good. We were aiming for 10AM anyway so you think if we queue then we'll be fine? Hopefully this thread will be useful to others as I'm sure I'm not the only one in the same boat. :)

BUT when will they open do you think? Coldplay are playing the day before aswell so I mean, maybe we'll be let in late?

Hey, first post but massive fan since 2007, and a moderate fan since 2005 :) I'll be seeing Coldplay for the first time in June at Manchester Ethiad Stadium. I have standing tickets because I want to be close to the band. So my question is, how many hours should I wait for? Do people turn up very early or what? I've already warned my friend and sister we're going early though :D One of my concerns is toilet breaks. Standing for hours will inevitably cause anyone to need to toilet unless I go dehydrated but that's not too safe I wouldn't think hehe. So anyway, thanks guys. Hope this isn't a difficult question :)

You guys with the bands are lucky because, by summer, when Coldplay are doing their gigs, most (if not all) are during the day i.e daylight so the bands won't have the same effect. Also, I read somewhere there were only plans to use the bands in December anyway. I think for us who don't get Xylobands, we'll get something else, maybe better :) I'm taking Chris Martin before anyone suggests it hehehe
